Fae Farm adds a lot of great quality-of-life improvements to the farming sim genre and makes magic with its soft and comfy art style. It's unfortunate that it falls short in a few important areas such as the interactions you can have with NPCs, because the rest of the game is incredibly solid. It does also take a long time to get going, and those first days in the game will feel a bit like a slog, but once you start uncovering the more fantastical side of the island there is a lot of amazing stuff to discover. If you are looking for a new farming sim to try, especially one with magical elements, Fae Farm might just scratch that itch.

Fae Farm is a little rough around the edges, but there's so much to do with satisfying pacing and tons of loveable characters to meet.

Fae Farm provides entertainment for a long time, and the experience of living in Azoria is a fantastic adventure that is very worthwhile.

Despite some shortcomings in "human" relationships with NPCs and an even lower than expected challenge rate, Fae Farm is an excellent exponent of the genre thanks in part to the magic element and the emphasis on exploration.

Barring its quest system and dull dungeons, Fae Farms is a solid farming sim that offers a ton of things to do in a fun and magical realm.

A gloriously thoughtful and beautiful farming game that's packed to the brim with details and charm, Fae Farm is unfortunately let down by its lacklustre NPCs and social dynamics. But with the rest of the game being so enticing, we're almost willing to let it slide. A handful of bugs, a bit of a grind, and a sinfully boring husband can't quite take the shine off this wonderful, whimsical world that's full of things to do and discover.

Unlike Stardew Valley and Story of Seasons, it feels like Fae Farm is prioritizing completing quests over farming and living a virtual life.

Fae Farm is probably some of the most fun I've had with a life simulator once I accepted it for what it was. If socialising and role-playing is very important to you in a game, maybe skip this one!

Fae Farm is by far my favourite all-around simulator to date. With its cute style, creative creatures and special attention to what players want from their sim games, Phoenix Labs has delivered an outstanding title.

It's hard to tell why Fae Farm is shipping in the state that it's in, and it's a shame that the core of the game is overshadowed by bugs and poor design choices. I hope one day it's in a state where it's possible to love it as much as I want to.

Fae Farm is a nice and cozy life simulator, but a dull cast of characters and a repetitive gameplay keep it away from greatness.

It may be simply too relaxing for some, but this is a game aimed at anyone averse to feeling rushed, pressured, or otherwise stressed. And it'll still have you lapping up the joys of adventure and invention, without it feeling like hard work.

It manages to make you feel happy and relaxed with just the right dose of adventures. It's not for hardcore players, of course, but you'll appreciate it if you just want to escape to a more colorful reality.

Fae Farm is a game that's easy to sink many hours into, and with post-launch content already planned, it's exciting to think about what the future holds for the already expansive title.

When playing Fae Farm solo, it's a fun story in a cute world filled with magic and connections. There are a lot of moving parts, but I think they do a good job of easing into them. It does leave a little desire for more clothing and hair customizations and playing multiplayer means starting a whole new world. But overall, it was definitely worth playing and something I'll pick up again.

Fae Farm has some weak points that need a little more fairy dust to truly fly, but there are still some great things to love about this farming sim.

As a farming sim and a lite RPG Fae Farm does everything right. Phoenix Labs have clearly thought long and hard about how to do away with all the mechanical niggles from other games in the genre. Because of that, Azoria is a world you’ll happily dip back into for an hour every night over the course of months or years. I only wish it was a little braver, a little quirkier, a little more human.

Fae Farm is a breath of fresh air, which has been much needed in this space. Just don't expect an immersive multiplayer experience or you will be disappointed.

Fae Farm manages to take some of the best elements of Animal Crossing and icons of the genre (Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, etc) and blend them together in an impressive way. With polished controls, and fun tweaks to familiar mechanics, Fae Farm manages to stand out in the (crowded) genre and is genuinely tough to put down.
