If this remake and the DLC are any indication we are in for a solid remake of the next game or sequel in the series.

How can we make something that's already pretty perfect even better? Thankfully, we don't have to look very far, because Separate Ways is the perfect ending to Resident Evil 4 Remake. The cool thing about Separate Ways is that it doesn't waste its time on drawn-out scenes that get old, or on gameplay mechanics that become boring in the long run. Instead, it focuses on giving you a different style and pace of play that's not totally different from Leon S. Kennedy's, so you really feel like you're playing as Ada Wong.

I had a blast with Resident Evil 4 Remake Separate Ways, but I can’t help but feel it won’t be for everyone. This DLC doesn’t hold your hand, in fact, it tries to bite it off. The base game never made me feel as stressed or up against the wall as Separate Ways did, and I know some players will find it too much. With that said, this tight DLC is perfect for anyone who had a great time with the base game and just wants more. It’s always incredible to see classic games in the series revitalized for modern audiences, and I think Separate Ways is the best Capcom has done since it began making remakes.

It's no exaggeration to say that the addition of Separate Ways to the Resident Evil 4 Remake was one of the best decisions CAPCOM could have made. The gameplay is just as much fun, hard, and intense as it was in the original game. The DLC continues in the same vein of suspenseful action horror as the main game and does a fine job. Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways fills up several plot holes that were present during Leon's campaign.

After a launch worthy of the best of the year, the only important thing that was missing arrived: Resident Evil 4 - Separate Ways gives the lead to Ada Wong, who manages not only to complement Leon's saga, but also to build a first-class adventure of her own. Shooting, kicking and jumping is always a lot of fun, and the DLC challenges have a great level of difficulty, including combat and puzzles. In conclusion, a mandatory expansion for those who have the game and a great extra incentive for those who have not yet purchased it.

Separate Ways is probably the best DLC in the Resident Evil saga. Capcom packs an expansive piece of content that simultaneously enhances and adds to Resident Evil 4 Remake, effectively adding an excellent story arc that expands and ends unresolved questions.

Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways does everything a smaller DLC should be doing. It expands the story in an interesting way, whilst delivering the same high-quality cinematics and gameplay. There are some reused assets for sure, but they are used in such a creative and interesting way that it’s not a detriment to the experience.

This DLC, if it can be called that, is an absolute essential of Resident Evil 4 itself and any fan of the saga. It is worth every penny paid for it and is enjoyed visually and playably. An excellent way to extend the playing time of one of the best action games of recent years and probably 2023 to which few drawbacks I can put, the truth.

Like Resident Evil 4 Remake, the new version of Separate Ways is way than the original thanks to its atmosphere, revisited parts that weren't in the game and of course, Ada. There aren't that many new features, and the IRIS mode is disappointed, but it's still a generous DLC that offers a different take on the story. Recommended for fans.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Separate Ways is just as fun to play as Resident Evil 4 Remake was, although it's much shorter. There are some great set-pieces and moments of camp that you won't find in any other series, and it is nice that Capcom is at least giving Ada and Wesker to the base game's Mercenaries mode for free. But. This whole part of the game used to be free. This was an add-on, a bonus, something Capcom initially packaged in with Resident Evil 4 on the PlayStation 2. All you had to do was beat the game once - there was no extra money involved.

Separate Ways adds its own unique spin to the excellent Resident Evil 4 Remake, with Ada having some cool tricks up her sleeve that make her a treat to play as. Of course, seeing the story play out from a different perspective is intriguing too, whilst the new additions ensure players will be kept on their toes as they re-visit the world of Resident Evil 4 once more. It’s another hit for the Resident Evil series and will keep players even more excited to see where the series will go next.

If Resident Evil 4 is a crown, Separate Ways is the jewel that complements it, and thus we can close this arc that will probably lead us to a new version of the fifth main game of this franchise.
