The Last of Us Part II Remastered Reviews
A port of a cult-classic with few issues or concerns, other than delivering low performance considering it's a game from the previous generation.

With the success of The Last of Us Part I, Naughty Dog bought themselves a fool's license, which they used for this awkward, beautiful, tragic and upsetting sequel. There are few titles that sound this good, look this good and serve us a storyline that meets its protagonists and us as players with a certain maturity - unfortunately, nothing in this world is perfect. The gameplay of The Last of Us Part II is sometimes a little slow and the PC version could have done with a stability patch or two before launch. In the end, however, we are still glad to have embarked on the journey with Ellie again. Anyone interested in story-driven video games will find this title hard to pass up sooner or later.

The Last of Us Part II: Remastered is a beautiful mess. An ambitious title that had all the right ingredients, but didn’t always pan out the way it should. The excellent survival action gameplay that showcases humanity’s brutality is often let down by a story that is trying too much and has poor pacing. Thankfully, Part II’s debut on PC improves on the last game, making it the best place to play, even with its imperfections.
It's a solid PC port and still technically beautiful, but also incredibly boring with a lackluster story and forgettable side characters. Even when it does something well, it throws it at the player so often that it stops being enjoyable.

Few works of art have left a mark on me quite like The Last of Us franchise. It's more than just a game — it’s a part of my emotional vocabulary, a story that has stayed with me through the years, reshaping how I view storytelling in gaming.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered was and still is an absolute masterpiece, one of the most significant games ever released and capable of leaving an indelible mark on the history of the medium, which sets the perfect example of how a work can evolve without getting distorted but truly improved in every single aspect, both narrative and gameplay wise. And so, just as Naughty Dog has created a title that reaches perfection, Nixxes Software has also been able to treat it with the respect it deserves, manufacturing a porting for PC that is extraordinarily optimized and capable of reaching 120FPS on high-end configurations with all maximum settings. An impeccable job for an unforgettable game.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC isn’t just a technical upgrade: it’s a masterclass in bringing a console port to a new platform with care, polish, and respect for its audience. With refined gameplay, deeper customization, and some gorgeous graphical upgrades, it’s a must-play for fans, new and old.
The Last of Us Part II is a near-perfect porting, hopefully setting a new standard for PlayStation games on PC. Naughty Dog's own work still manages to hold one's breath with its narrative and the excellent characterisation of all its characters.

One of the most complete games of all time, in terms of action and storytelling, with some controversial issues in its plot.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered comes to PC with visual enhancements and great performance. Its intense narrative, memorable characters, and refined gameplay make the game unforgettable. The “No Return” mode adds value to the experience, and the accessibility features are impressive. An excellent port and highly recommended for all types of players.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC is the best version of one of the best games ever created.
The PC release of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is the definitive version of the game.
Naughty Dog's dark, post-apocalyptic tale is now on PC in all its grim glory. If you haven't played the game before, this is the perfect way to experience Ellie and Abby's story. There are dozens of hours of content to engage with, both in the campaign and the surprisingly deep and enjoyable No Return mode that almost feels like it could have carried a different game by itself.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC delivers in spades. The PC-specific features are welcome, though the DLSS implementation needs a bit of work. That said, this is easily the best way to play one of this generation's greatest games.
A porting that transforms the nightmare of Part I into a technical, fluid and almost perfect dream.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC represents one of the best console portings we have seen in recent years. Naughty Dog, Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy have created a conversion that not only keeps the visual and narrative DNA of the original intact, but enhances it through the capabilities of PC hardware. Optimization is generally excellent, with scalability that allows the experience to be enjoyed on different band configurations. New technologies implemented, such as DLSS 3 and FSR 3.1, further expand the audience of potential players. The minor problems encountered do not in the least affect the overall quality of a work that, even on PC, is confirmed as one of the greatest videogame masterpieces of recent years. The addition of new content for the No Return mode, available from day one, is also a significant added value for both newcomers and those who have already experienced the adventure on PlayStation. If you are a PC owner and have not yet experienced the intense experience of The Last of Us Part II, this Remastered version is undoubtedly the best way to do so. If, on the other hand, you have already completed the game on consoles, the PC version offers enough technical improvements and new content to justify a return to Seattle. Ultimately, The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC confirms itself as a benchmark for console porting, raising the quality bar for all future conversions
