Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist Reviews
A soulful and gorgeous Metroidvania with exquisite hack and slash action.
It's up to Lilac the Attuner to save the kingdom from rampaging Homunculi in Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist.
Ender Magnolia is an excellent Metroidvania that exemplifies the best of what the genre has to offer. Its combination of tense combat, interesting worldbuilding, and memorable art style makes for a compelling experience that we'd highly suggest to anybody drawn to games such as Hollow Knight or Blasphemous. It's downbeat, but anyone who isn't yet exhausted by Metroidvanias will find a lot to love here.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a confident, compelling adventure filled with interesting boss fights, inventive mechanics, lovely visuals and wonderful music.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a metroidvania that stands out for its unique atmosphere and refined combat system. Despite some navigation issues and the fragility of our protagonist, the game offers a captivating experience that will keep players hooked throughout its duration.

Gratifying combat, enjoyable platforming, and an impressive list of abilities help Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist comfortably overcome any minor missteps, however. Aided further through vibrant graphics and flawless technical performance, Adglobe and Live Wire have once again come together to showcase Metroidvanias at their best.
Ender Magnolia follows in the footsteps of Ender Lilies by delivering a longer-than-average metroidvania with a fun combat system and a very pleasing art style, especially when it comes to backgrounds. However, while its story beats are by no means bad, they lack the spark that was present in Ender Lilies.

ENDER MAGNOLIA is a fantastic follow-up to a darling Metroidvania that pushes the series forward while remaining true to its predecessor.
For anyone who loved Ender Lilies, or enjoys Metroidvania games in general, Ender Magnolia is a must-play. It includes a good amount of exploration, a great story and beautiful hand drawn graphics.
A solid search-action game coupled with an incredible musical score makes for an easy recommendation.
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist takes the best elements of its predecessor, building a more confident game. Certainly a fantastic Metroidvania, it could still push the envelope to deliver an exceptional variation to a flooded genre.
All in all, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist doesn’t just take inspiration from the best games in this style; it has its own essential lessons to impart.
Whether you appreciate the genre or loved its predecessor, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a must-play experience.
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist offers an impressive Metroidvania experience, featuring hauntingly beautiful visuals, an evocative soundtrack, a unique story and a wonderfully genuine Homunculi cast that offers an exciting challenge for both seasoned Metroidvania fans and newcomers alike. While Lilac's fragility and the few navigational issues may hinder your progress temporarily, stay persistent. It's well worth seeing it through to the end to uncover the secrets of the Land of Fumes.
I'd highly recommend Ender Magnolia to the fans of the metroidvania genre, everyone will find something for themselves here.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist totally forgoes evolving the original concept, merely repeating the same formula and gameplay situations, with improvements so bland as to be almost irrelevant. This sequel is still very strong and appealing, but chooses to live off its laurels.

There are a few more things that felt were missing, but Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist manages to bloom as Lilac herself. If there’s anything I learned from this is that cute girls with white hair in a dystopian setting, are a sure-fire recipe for success.
Ender Magnolia collected different ideas from different Metroidvania games, but mixed them together and added it's own touch in a way that makes it one of the most memorable Metroid experiences
