Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is essentially a "team that wins, you don't change" for those who have played Ender Lilies, who may feel an understandable sense of deja vu. Nonetheless, if you liked the predecessor, this one certainly won't disappoint you at all. For anyone new to the game, however, Ender Magnolia is an excellent dark fantasy metroidvania to fully experience, in which it is not necessarily necessary to have played the predecessor to understand the events of Lilac and the lore of the Land of Fumes in detail, although there is some references to Lilies. Solid in level design, in combat mechanics, in exploration and in the RPG side with the parameters and growth of the character level, the new work by Adglobe and Live Wire is completely convincing, also thanks to a very elegant graphic style and a well crafted soundtrack. Perhaps something more could have been done in terms of battles with some bosses, but nothing that negatively affects the overall quality of the game.

Ender Magnolia is a tight, cohesive game that does exactly what it sets out to achieve and doesn’t overstay its welcome. Thrilling combat with plenty of variety, a banger soundtrack, excellent visuals and an excellent world all combine to make something really interesting and special. Does it do anything super new for the genre? No, but it does show a mastery of all the concepts, with only a few small floundering moments. I think that alone should be praised.
At its price point, Ender Magnolia is a terrific game. It won’t reinvent the genre, but that’s hardly a knock at it. Sometimes it’s enough to just be one of the best.
While bosses present their fair share of challenges, the overall experience is incredibly rewarding, leaving you wanting more—even with an impressively large map to explore. had a great time playing ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist and exploring its lore to the depths.

When Ender Lilies came out, it was a game that captured that side-scrolling feeling perfectly. Ender Magnolia hits all the notes as well, but it follows a game that was more original with a more engaging story.
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist is a sequel that takes everything good about its predecessor and takes it one step further. With an improved combat system, a better designed design and an enchanting audiovisual section, it is an essential title for lovers of the genre. Although the surprise factor that the previous title benefited from is lost, ENDER MAGNOLIA establishes itself as one of the best metroidvanias of this year on its own merits.

Those who have already gone through its previous installment may know what they are dealing with. This is a 2D metroidvania where the challenge is present not only in its platforming moments, but also in its confrontations against the final bosses. Everything is bathed in a very good color palette that is completely different from what we saw in Ender Lilies.

The game is bigger, better balanced, plays a lot better, has more variety and despite the fact that the game lives in melancholy it is a pleasure to play from start to finish. Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a 2D action RPG Metroidvania. It's able to set it self apart from other in the genre and be something great. With an intriguing mystery I felt compelled to unravel, and a fun combat system that encourages experimentation. A short but compelling adventure and I already feel like playing again. Ender Magnolia is something special, and I hope Binary Haze Interactive continues to make more.
