'Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist' is a great sequel to a very good game. The game is bigger, better balanced, plays a lot better, has more variety and despite the fact that the game lives in melancholy it is a pleasure to play from start to finish. I can't wait for the next part. Whatever it may be called.

If you’ve ever lost sleep over a game—truly, deeply obsessed over every mechanic, every moment, every boss fight—then you’ll understand why ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist had me in a chokehold. The game sucked me in so completely that I forgot to hydrate. The boss fights? Sick. The build customization? Insanely rewarding. The improvements over its predecessor? Chef’s kiss. Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a 2D action RPG Metroidvania. It's able to set it self apart from other in the genre and be something great. With an intriguing mystery I felt compelled to unravel, and a fun combat system that encourages experimentation. A short but compelling adventure and I already feel like playing again. Ender Magnolia is something special, and I hope Binary Haze Interactive continues to make more.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a dream come true for Metroidvania fans. Its world is brought to life with vibrant art and a beautifully crafted soundtrack. I love how every boss—each one uniquely designed—becomes an ally, forming the foundation of my attacks. The story is deep and intriguing, though it can get complex at times. For fans of the Metroidvania genre, this is a must-play!
Close to Nintendo's next generation, ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist debuts as one of Switch's best metroidvanias, expanding what could be seen on its predecessor and proving that 2025 isn't exactly lacking in surprises on the hybrid console library. Though not revolutionary, this is an excellent sequel that's worth checking by both those who are coming into the franchise now as well as its long-time fans. Recommended.

Though ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist plays it safe by being too similar to its predecessor, it also surpasses it in every aspect. It's a challenging, beautiful and melancholic metroidvania, but also heartwarming in its emphatic narrative tone and quality of life upgrades — especially the excellent mapping —, along with the difficulty management.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist provides all the Metroidvania challenge any gamer could want, while also making it accessible to those who struggle with the genre but still want to experience the magnificent story inside. The game requires plenty of patience and practice but the results are well worth it.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom In The Mist was well worth the wait from Early Access and represents a monumental improvement over its predecessor. It retains the same atmospheric dark fantasy elements and beautiful visuals reminiscent of titles such as NieR and Hollow Knight. Additionally, it features robust action sidescroller gameplay that can keep Metroidvania fans entertained for many hours. Although it may not be as challenging as its predecessor, it compensates with streamlined improvements in its gameplay, making it an addictive title that is highly recommended and a must-play for fans of this sub-genre.
Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is the direct sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. The game offers nothing particularly new, but provides a challenging, adrenaline-pumping and fascinating second adventure. Music and scenery are wonderful, as is the carefully crafted design of characters and enemies. To complete Binary Haze's metroidvania requires reasoning and skills in equal measure. The overall difficulty level might be frustrating for the less determined, for everyone else it is an immersive experience from which it is difficult to detach oneself before reaching the end credits.

ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist expands on much of what was seen in its predecessor. It's beautiful, fun, and challenging in just the right amount. In my opinion, it goes on a little longer than it should in terms of its narrative. Technically, it's an impeccable game that performs well on the Switch, whether docked or in portable mode. It's one of the best — if not the best — releases of the year so far.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is the perfect sequel. It solves all the critical issues of its predecessor and perfects even more of the franchise's distinctive element: the handling of Homunculus. However, in the name of accessibility, some of the magic that made Ender Lilies so charming has been lost. But that's perfectly fine.

I had very few complaints about Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist by the time I saw both endings. Adglobe and Live Wire should pat themselves on the back for being a game that helps kick 2025 off in a strong way. To any fans of the metroidvania genre, i’d definitely recommend checking it, as well as it’s predecessor out if you have not.

Ender Magnolia is a fantastic achievement of dark fantasy storytelling and gameplay. Its gorgeous visuals, emotional soundtrack, and refined mechanics combine to create an unforgettable experience. While it doesn’t drastically reinvent the formula of its predecessor, it builds upon it in meaningful ways, offering a journey that is both familiar and fresh. For fans of Ender Lilies and adventure games in general, Ender Magnolia is a must-play. Its captivating world, engaging combat, and emotional narrative will leave a lasting impression, reminding us that even in the darkest of times, a glimmer of light can shine through. This is a message I took from the first game but it resonates just as much here.
