Marvel Rivals is a damn fun and immediate hero shooter, which boasts among other things a microtransaction management that makes it perfectly playable without spending a penny. If the developers know how to manage the wave of success well and constantly publish new content, it could be an experience capable of staying on the crest of the wave for quite some time.

Marvel Rivals is a game that puts fun first. Playing as one of Marvel's huge and not-so-huge characters is a lot of fun, with stupid things like Rocket Raccoon and Jeff the Shark being fun to play. As I'm a Venom main, I love that I don't need to study a meta guide to jump in and have fun. If Marvel Rivals keeps fun at the core of its gameplay, then it'll be a hit for years to come.

It's undeniable to say that Marvel Rivals beat every odd stacked against it, and that's purely based on merit alone. It's a fun team-based shooter with new and old ideas featured prominently throughout its 33-character roster that kept me wanting for more.

While it borrows a lot of ideas from its competitors, it stands out thanks to its excellent roster of characters and some innovative systems, like team abilities. Overall, Marvel Rivals is a good free-to-play multiplayer game that is worth investing in. Despite just being released with few updates, I believe this game has the potential to shake up the gaming world and more. My only concern is how will the developers keep this game alive despite having similar features with Overwatch and what could they do to further increase its popularity with both Marvel fans and gamers alike.
One free game leads to another, Marvel heroes and villains are welcome if the goal is simply to have fun. Between questionable balance and general lack of originality, some will turn up their noses, but how fun is Marvel Rivals.
