A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Reviews
A mind-numbing tour through one of horror’s more recent hit IPs, which doesn’t provide justification for its stay, or the scares to match.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a solid effort initially, but pacing issues, iffy creature AI, repetitive gameplay, and other issues hamper it.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead while intriguing on paper, is too inconsistent when it comes to pacing, difficulty and world building to really make an impact.
Despite working with the same killer premise as the movies before it, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead struggles to sustain tension over the course of its fairly predictable journey. With a tighter focus its glacial pacing and deliberate systems might have made for something special but as it stands, this one is for fans of the genre only.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is first and foremost a game for fans of the franchise. Horror fans can also give it a try and even get some emotions and challenges, but I'm afraid they won't live to see the end credits and will quietly leave to find another place to tickle their nerves.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is both a faithful transposition and a valid first-person horror. The few variations on the theme throughout the adventure force the player into an extremely compassed pace and a really high dose of patience, so it would have served the game better to have been able to have many more contrivances within it than have been seen in the films.

With some gameplay mechanics that ultimately work against the experience, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead doesn't manage to capture the tension that the world promises.
If you’re seeking a tense and atmospheric horror experience, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is an excellent choice.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a decent horror experience. The story is fine if you're a fan of the situation instead of the characters that don't give you much material to sympathize with them. The gameplay is authentic to the movies, but it can also feel ridiculous with the amount of debris that you need to be aware of. The game nails the tension necessary for a horror game, but it is also laid on so thick that it can feel tiring if you're playing in long sessions. In the end, while it could've been a tighter experience, it is still a game worth checking out if you're a fan of horror games where you can forgive some questionable game design decisions.
Stealth fans might find enough entertainment in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, thanks to moments of decent immersion and sound manipulation, but inconsistent and shallow mechanics hold it back.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a great first attempt into the videogame sphere, with unique innovations and ideas that are a no-brainer for those intrigued considering the low entry fee.
A very classic walking simulator with horror elements in a well-chosen universe. (Too)calm gameplay and rather for one time.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a unique horror experience for all fans of survival and stealth games. If you are a fan of this sci-fi movie series, this game will make you feel like you are living the silent and scary life that we saw on the big screen over the course of three films.

A very slow horror game, with slow gameplay and the need to constantly slow down - even when you open the doors. Someone might like this, but even this year there have been enough better projects in the horror genre.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead offers an interesting experience within the franchise, combining elements of stealth with an engaging narrative. The setting and the need for silence create a constant tension, making players feel immersed in the terrifying universe of the movies. The gameplay mechanics that require caution and patience are well-developed, although it may seem slow to some. In addition to the lack of action, visual issues such as locked character movements can detract from the overall experience. Despite this, the story and easter eggs, especially those that reference the movies, make up for the flaws, making the game a good choice for fans of the series.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a respectable effort in the survival horror genre and does a great job of implementing the same feel and atmosphere that made the movie series successful into a video game, using high-quality lighting and sound effects. On the other hand, however, the original story and characters of the game don't feel as fresh or as engaging when compared to the movies and the cut-scenes lack the quality you'd expect. In the end, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead might not be the perfect survival horror experience out there, but it is indeed unique and full of tension and distress.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead delivers plenty of spooks throughout its roughly eight-hour adventure, but it does run out of ideas somewhat during the back half of that runtime. When called upon, the cast is well-acted (even if the story is quite threadbare) and the whole thing does enough to cement itself as a worthy entry in the 'A Quiet Place' universe, which is a nice achievement for Stormind Games. Some more late-game variety and additional options for dealing with the enemy could have made this a horror great, but as it stands, The Road Ahead is just a decent romp through what's becoming quite a popular movie universe. Horror game aficionados and A Quiet Place superfans should definitely consider this one, but for those less experienced, there are better options out there on the horror game market.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead offers an intense and thrilling horror experience reminiscent of Alien: Isolation, capturing the essence of the films. However, its forced slowness and repetitive stealth mechanics can become tedious over time.

As a fan and follower of Stormind Games, I eagerly awaited the release of A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. I was curious to see how the team would handle a franchise and partnership that is quite unique in our domestic production landscape. Given the studio’s past work, I wasn’t too surprised by the quality of this peculiar survival horror. It demonstrates Stormind's growth and integrates effectively with the film's world. It offers an oppressive and obsessive experience, which isn’t for those looking for an adrenaline-packed horror. But if approached the right way, it holds plenty of surprises. Plus, it comes at a very affordable price.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is an impressively authentic horror adventure, followed by an intense story that grabbed my attention from start to finish. Most movies that turn into games are usually underwhelming, but this game is one of the exceptions.
