Tales of Graces f Remastered Reviews
Tales of Graces f Remastered is a wonderful expression of translating a classic JRPG onto modern consoles. Rather than attempt a costly, unnecessary overhaul, Tose and Bandai Namco paid respect to this legacy series by bringing it to a current audience, one made up of series veterans and newcomers.
As a huge fan of the Tales series, Tales of Graces f Remastered is the ultimate way to experience one of the more thought-provoking and emotionally intriguing stories in the franchise. The quality of life improvements of this remaster not only serve to keep the series relevant, and greatly make up for some of the game's bigger shortcomings, such as its slow opening act, and a padded-out end-game, but it is also an exciting study into what the franchise's next remastered project might look like.
JRPGs like this don't come very often. The plot charges ahead at a brisk pace while the well-written characters develop through the web of deceit. The sheer quantity and quality of the combat and the variety it offers will have RPG fans feasting for a long while.
Tales of Graces F Remastered is a worthy return to one of the more underrated entries into the series for a brand new console generation to enjoy
Overall, Tales of Graces F Remastered is an almost perfect remaster of a highly beloved title that provides an excellent gaming experience despite its few flaws.
Tales of Graces F Remastered is a game that might leave you somewhat indifferent if you look only and exclusively at the graphics. However, the numerous internal improvements, the novel options and the smoothing out of the edges typical of jrpg's of the old era, may bring a new audience to the saga or attract all those who for some reason skipped over this good and perhaps under-celebrated chapter.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is a solid JRPG for young gamers who think turn-based gameplay is boring. The saccharine friendship themes will bore most older gamers and make their skin crawl, but it does have some genuinely heartfelt moments. Some of the writing is sloppy and the motivations are weak. If you’re a little kid, it may resonate with you.
Tales of Graces f Remastered is the second refresh of a title from the acclaimed jRPG series from a quarter of a century ago. Despite the fact that against the background of its series the game is nothing special, it is a very pleasant production, which is worth returning to, or giving a chance, even if it is the first time you play a production from under the Tales logo.

A worthy remaster of a good JRPG. It didn't significantly update the game, but that wasn't really necessary – the story, characters, and deep battle system still make it one of the best in the series.

All told, Tales of Graces f Remastered is an impressive game, with some of my favorite game characters and gameplay in some time. It looks and runs like a dream on the Switch, too, which made for a wonderful visual experience. Reportedly Bandai Namco is looking to remaster more of the Tales series, and after Graces f Remastered, I hope we'll see those sooner rather than later.
Tales of Graces f Remastered is a great RPG that does everything right with a compelling story and battle system. It's a must-play!
Overall, Tales of Graces f Remastered is a strong remaster of a solid game. The plot is relatively weak but handily carried by its extremely strong combat system, which makes the game worth playing on its own. The additions to the remaster are all genuine improvements, and even the bundling of cheat-mode DLC is only a problem if you let it be. If you're a fan of action-RPGs or the Tales franchise and haven't given Graces f a gander, this is the ideal way to play it.
Tales of Graces f Remastered features one of the most interesting storylines in the series and a bunch of mechanics that make it thoroughly stand out. As long as you can enjoy very linear structure, this remaster is a great RPG to spend time with.
Ultimately, Tales of Graces f Remastered is a game of peaks and valleys. For some, the combat alone will be enough to carry the experience while they ignore the narrative. For others, the characters will carry an otherwise average and unsatisfying plot.
While some issues from the original version persist, such as questionable level design at times, the various quality of life improvements make the experience more accessible and enjoyable.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is very well done and it’s a joy to play, but the age of the game is still noticeable, both visually and audibly, despite being sharper than ever. Nevertheless: for a long-time fan of the series, it feels like home to be back, even though there are no major changes.

If I told younger me that he hadn’t played the complete version of this game, he would ask me two things. First, “who are you?” and secondly, “got any sunflower seeds?” You thought he would call me a liar? Nah, he’s played enough Stein’s Gate to know slightly what’s up. But I digress, getting to revisit what I believe is number three in my list of best entry in the Tales of series was a great reminder of what I love and miss the most about the series. I know the people who played the original will enjoy going down memory lane when playing. While newcomers will see the peak of what the battle system for this series can reach. Now, got out there with you bag full of Purple Gels and don’t skip the skits….please. I give Tales of Graces f Remastered the Thumb Culture Platinum Award
