Revenge of the Savage Planet Reviews
Revenge Of The Savage Planet is an explosive sequel that ups the ante in every aspect, making for one the most fun co-op experiences of 2025.
Raccoon Logic knows its target audience and delivers exactly what you would expect with Revenge of the Savage Planet, grating humor and all.
A pointed satire of the human cost of corporate shenanigans, Revenge is a solid sequel that almost didn't exist but I'm sure glad it does.
Still replete with Metroidvania elements and satire, this sequel offers more of everything from the original.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is a self-assured sequel that successfully builds on what was started in the original game, making smart adjustments to structure and game feel while honing in on the satire. Not all of it is a success, but it's a great little romp that doesn't ask for too much of your time or brainpower to make its point.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is overall fun, but tends to be a bit bland and repetitive in some areas. If you enjoyed the previous game, then you will most likely also enjoy this one, as long as you go in with the right expectations.
Raccoon Logic's latest release is a worthy sequel to Journey to the Savage Planet, delivering an entertaining experience through its engaging story, dynamic combat, inventive world design, and satisfying platforming. Revenge of the Savage Planet blends various well-executed elements into a cohesive whole, offering Sci-Fi fans hours of immersive gameplay.

Light, fun e nonsense, Revenge of the Savage Planet recaptures all the colorful exuberance of the visuals seen in the previous game, bringing it to full power. At the same time, it maintains the acid tone about corporatism in a three-dimensional metroidvania progression model, delivering a balanced, agile and practical gameplay system.

In the end, Revenge of the Savage Planet is a good follow-up to Journey to the Savage Planet. The concept of exploring new, absurd worlds remains novel, while the expanded tool set and mobility tweaks strengthen the gameplay. The worlds are large and packed with loads to discover, and the game offers up a good amount to do even after you've seen the credits for the first time. For those who love exploring, Revenge of the Savage Planet is well worth checking out.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is the result of the efforts of talented, passionate fans of platformers and open world games, in the guise of science fiction and corporate satire.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is an excellent, goo-filled adventure with plenty to do on your journey from being a hapless fool to a genuine space hero.
An irreverent, colorful and intelligent space adventure, which confirms Raccoon Logic's talent in telling absurd worlds that, deep down, are all too similar to our own. It's not perfect, but it's fun.

After our first foray into the Savage Planet, Revenge of the Savage Planet ups the ante with a more ambitious and well-rounded game offer. A 100-year journey that culminates in the exploration of an entire abandoned solar system at the hand of a large corporation. Its 3D metroidvania proposal includes platforms, combat, exploration and a large number of puzzles and collectibles that will help us achieve the desired ending... or succumb in the attempt. All this wrapped in a hooligan and irreverent humor that sometimes goes too far in its intention to criticize the world in which we live and in which we could live.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is one of my favourite games of the year with its awesomely colourful and lighthearted alien planets and entertaining gameplay that's so packed with variety, it's hard to put it down once you take off. 🪐
Revenge of the Savage Planet delivers a totally fun, exciting, unserious but most of all, bigger adventure. Moreover, this is available on Xbox Game Pass, so just download this bad boy and have a wacky time.
Revenge of the Savage Planet is a hilarious, at times horrifying, jaunt through the far reaches of space that will have you absorbed within the weirdness as soon as you dive in. It’s definitely a Metroidvania, despite the third-person perspective, and the age-old story of revenge against an unfair dismissal is something everyone can relate to.
Any time I can join a friend for a raucous adventure through beautifully savage worlds that encourage me to corral and befriend as many creatures as possible while flinging myself across the lands with ease, count me in.
With a new perspective and a focus on co-op play, the sequel tries to expand on the first game’s sarcastic humour and exploration, but does very little with the formula and quickly becomes repetitive.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a title that's hard to take seriously. The humorous tone of the story and the fairly simple gameplay structure make the game perfect for a break from large, open-world titles. While exploration could offer a few unique types of puzzles, often the most fun comes from discovering ways to outsmart the developers and find your own path to the reward.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is a fun and engaging open-world Metroidvania experience that’s slightly bogged down by a constant barrage of naff jokes
