Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV Reviews
Jamboree TV adds variety to an already feature-rich title, but it does so in a way that's not entirely satisfying. It doesn’t improve the original experience, which remains limited to backward compatibility, and it introduces an exclusive mode that feels completely disconnected and is limited to just 20 mini-games. Not bad, but we were hoping for a bit more.

Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV combines one of the best Mario Party games ever with a mediocre collection of updates that feel like gimmicks for the most part. The puzzling decision to split updates across the Switch and Switch 2 content only adds to the overall feeling that this is a channel I can't recommend tuning into unless you're the biggest of Mario Party fans.
Super Mario Party Jamboree TV offers no revolutions but delivers a solid improvement over the base game, with its game show vibe, fun new minigames, and Coaster mode sure to bring smiles—though the reliance on a camera and the lack of updates to the core game may leave some players wanting more.

We loved Super Mario Party Jamboree when it was released on Nintendo Switch, and this relaunch for Switch 2, complete with new content, makes it even better and more fun. It's a truly enormous game, offering an unmissable experience for anyone looking to organise a few evenings with friends.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is a game with plenty of modes and content, very competent, and paying extra to have access to an expansion that seems rushed just to justify a few features of the new console doesn't seem like a good deal. I found no bugs, the online works well enough and the new minigames may be fun for a week, but, after that, what is left? The excellent original game that already existed.

Jamboree TV is a solid upgrade pack and makes great use of the Switch 2’s camera, microphone, and mouse controls to provide new and creative minigames that are fun, hilarious, intense, and addictive to play. Seeing you and your friends appear in and be part of the game is incredibly entertaining and will always be a good time.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is a hilarious proposition and a missed opportunity. The new features are refreshing, the mini-games shine with the Switch 2 features, and some modes like Frenzy Fair are awesome, but it's hard to understand why Nintendo has chosen to split the experience in two instead of unifying it.

Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV adds fun extras to an already packed party game. Carnival Coaster stands out as a fast, replayable mode, and the new mouse-based minigames bring something different. While Bowser Live doesn’t last long and there are no new boards, the added rule sets and hardware support give it replay value. If you skipped the original, this version is the better way to jump in.
uper Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is a welcome addition to the Switch 2’s library, but one that relies too much on the original package. While Jamboree TV provides some fun moments, especially with the mouse mini-games, Super Mario Party Jamboree ultimately carries it on its back in this new package.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV offers some nice additions for the extra cost, though I would have hoped for a little more. The new board modes, Jamboree Express and Bowser Show, enrich the experience in an original way, although they lack depth. The integration of the Switch 2's unique features, such as mouse mode, camera, and microphone, brings a breath of fresh air to the franchise, and I hope to see more of this in the future.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is still the same friendship-ending game you may or may not have loved a couple of months back, and Jamboree TV sprinkles in a few bright ideas. Frenzy Rules and mouse-control minigames are very fun. The problem is that everything else feels like a tech showcase in search of a reason to exist, and the awkward separation from the base game doesn’t help its case. What’s worse, there isn’t even a new game board! When the highlight of a $20 add-on is a handful of quick novelties and minigames that force you to buy a peripheral, it’s hard to imagine this being worth picking over other party games.
Gamers aged 4 to 80 can immediately enjoy this huge amount of irreverent mini-game fun, with the Nintendo Switch 2 taking the possibilities to the next level with voice-controlled mini-games and mouse controllers.

With “Jamboree TV,” the already extensive “Mario Party Jamboree” is now also compatible with Nintendo’s new console. Although the camera and mouse are well integrated, some of the new game modes seem more like tech demos for the new Switch 2 features. The new team matches and some of the new mini-games will keep you entertained for a long time.

For $20, Mario Party Jamboree's Switch 2 mode doesn't feel like anything essential. Jamboree is a great Mario Party game already, and the improvements -- including being able to Game Share to other local Switches for multi-screen multiplayer -- might be fun to try.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is a true entertainment spectacle. It has everything: classic boards, a high-energy live show, a cooperative rollercoaster, and tons of dynamic, interactive minigames. Sure, some modes might get repetitive, and the mouse-like control might feel awkward, but the fun is guaranteed! The best part is that you get to choose how you want to play—and I can confidently say this is my favorite Mario Party so far. The visual upgrade and smoothness make a huge difference, along with the new minigames and creative ways to enjoy the party. Gather your friends, whether at home or online, and get ready for laughs and unforgettable moments at this epic party.

The new features are definitely a nice bonus, even if they can only add a limited amount of extra fun to the already high level of gameplay. Therefore, our overall rating remains unchanged compared to the original Switch version, although the scope is slightly expanded.

Super Mario Party Jamboree remains a solid game, and I feel like Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is a natural pick-up for families.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV brings the ultimate party experience to the new console, enhancing the already content-rich base game with innovative Switch 2 features like microphone and camera integration. While the core game's visuals show their age, the "Jamboree TV" expansion shines, offering fresh minigames, new modes like Frenzy to shorten playtimes, and robust multiplayer options for endless fun with friends and family.
