Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV Reviews
Unless you expect to get a lot of mileage out of the specific Mario Party additions to the game, including the goofy camera support, faster Frenzy mode, and novel Tag Team mode, you're likely better off just playing the original Switch 1 version. The barrier for entry for the Switch 2 Jamboree TV content is very high and while I've been digging most of what's added to it, the new additions are on the whole middling. This might be the most fun I've had with Mario Party since the Wii, but I also would much rather have a brand new Mario Party game on Switch 2 than this weird frankenstein.
Overall, the disappointment of the Switch 2 launch window, despite being essential if you haven’t played it before.
Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV shakes up the Mario Party formula with additional mini-games, enjoyable camera support and the return of team play. The good is undermined, however, by splitting the game between the untouched original release and the improved Jamboree TV portion. It is a shame as Jamboree TV could be the definitive release with better considered UX. As a result of this, it comes down to whether you feel the additional mini-games and modes are worth the upgrade price or if the feature-packed original release will suffice.
The game is an interesting option for Nintendo Switch 2, with new features that improve the original version. There aren't many, but the minigames that use the microphone, camera, mouse, and HD Rumble of the new Joy-Con 2 show what the console can do and offer fun moments with friends or alone.

With an expanded selection of minigames, new catchy modes and implementation of Switch 2 hardware features, this is the definitive edition of Super Party Mario Jamboree. It brings not only better resolutions or framerate, but nice content additions for long party sessions.

One of the better installments, although as often as is the case, not the most polished or fair, and Jamboree TV does not really impress.

Jamboree TV is a very good addition to Super Mario Party Jamboree, but that doesn't justify a port with no improvements to 70% of its content. Judging it as a new game, it needs more new content and for that content to be more accessible to everyone.

I love that Nintendo is upgrading a bunch of their Switch games for their new console and if Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is any indication, we're in for some real delightful treats down the road. 📺
Super Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch 2 is a fitting addition that's definitely not a must-have, but fans of the popular plumber will be pleased. The title effectively utilizes the Joy-Con function as a mouse in over 10 new minigames, and we also appreciated the new fast-paced "Frenzy" mode for Mario Party.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Party Jamboree confidently plays its trump cards. Jamboree TV is not a cosmetic side room, but the new centerpiece when we think of the party as a show: more precise thanks to mouse mode, louder thanks to the microphone, more personal thanks to the camera. The classic game remains the familiar stage with colorful charm and calculated dice madness; technically, it doesn't keep up everywhere, but it benefits indirectly from the fresh rules and additional energy. The bottom line is that we had constant fun, and that's exactly the currency Mario Party is measured in.

Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV is especially suitable for the people who have not yet bought it on the Nintendo Switch. The new functionalities are fun to use and Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV is just a nice party game. The mini -games are fun to play and that you can also invite people online is just nice.

Super Mario Party Jamboree represents one of the most complete and creative titles in the franchise to date. The inclusion of Jamboree TV mode adds an extra layer of fun with new and dynamic attractions, while the seven boards, alternative modes like Frenzy and Team Mode, and Jamboree Duos bring variety and strategy to traditional Mario Party matches.

"Mario Party Jamboree is still a must-have for anyone who wants to liven up game nights with family or friends online. The new modes are a blast and cleverly tap into the console’s features, but their limited variety means they start to feel repetitive over time. On the technical side, the game finally boasts visuals that do justice to the hardware, though unfortunately that polish doesn’t carry over to the core content.

Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is a bigger and better version of a fun title - the camera functionality only adds to the experience.
Although the new modes are a bit weak, there's no denying that Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV is a sensational multiplayer game.
As an update package, the Switch 2 Edition isn't all that special. It doesn't technically improve anything other than the Jamboree TV portion, and the game modes only offer short-term fun before they start repeating themselves. The best part of Mario Party, in my opinion, is the minigames, both in the entire package and in this update. But would I pay 20 euros for them? Maybe not.

It’s hard to say, though, that the Frenzy and Tag Team modes totally justify the cost of buying the Switch 2 edition of Super Mario Party Jamboree. It’s still a great game – probably the best Mario Party game ever – and you’ll have a blast with the core game whether you’re playing it on Switch 1 or Switch 2, but the $20 upgrade pack that is Jamboree TV is nowhere near as essential.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV maintains the spirit of the series and tries to bring some new features in line with the new hardware. The base game remains a benchmark for local multiplayer: solid, accessible and rich in content. Jamboree TV adds modernity and immediacy, making everything more varied, but suffers from its isolation from the main core and some poorly defined design choices.

When I consider the cost of the extra modes and minigames, especially as three quarters of the game doesn’t require the camera, it feels like a bargain if you already own the base game. Even if you don’t, it still seems like decent value at $100, as it’s one and a half games. It’s when adding in the cost of the camera that it feels a little bit too expensive. I’m not sure why Nintendo didn’t bundle Bowser TV with the camera as its own thing. The rest could have been added onto the base game and would have been considered DLC instead of an “upgrade”.
Super Mario Party Jamboree for Nintendo Switch 2 expands the series’ classic formula with a wide selection of mini-games, new boards, and social features. The introduction of the Jamboree TV mode adds unprecedented interactivity, using the camera, microphone, and Joy-Con controller as a mouse to create more dynamic matches, delivering a complete experience for players.
