The Jackbox Party Pack 11 Reviews
Overall, Jackbox Party Pack 11 is a fantastic iteration and adds more to the series than not. While some of the titles may be lost over time, there’s still a lot of joy to be had here and it’s a necessary addition to any Jackbox enthusiast. Draw, accuse and doom your friends, and then have a nice screaming sesh in between answering adventurous trivia. This pack goes all the way to eleven!
The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is an entertaining mix of five new party games that showcase Jackbox’s trademark humour and creativity, even if not every idea fully lands. Doominate delivers sharp wordplay, Hear Say shines with chaotic audio fun, Cookie Haus struggles with clunky drawing controls, Suspectives brings clever social deduction, and Legends of Trivia adds a refreshing cooperative twist to trivia. It’s not quite a top-tier pack, especially with the restrictions of Hear Say and Suspectives as well as the pacing of Legends of Trivia, but there’s still more than enough variety and personality here to make it a great choice for any game night.
The Jackbox Party Pack 11 promises five new original titles, but four of them lean heavily on familiar ground. Suspectives is basically Fakin’ It in disguise. Doominate is Quiplash with a dark twist. Cookie Haus is Tee K-O with frosting. Hear Say is Earwax remade. Only Legends of Trivia stands tall as something truly inventive, and it’s so good it almost justifies the purchase on its own. For long-time Jackbox fans, this pack is a mix of déjà vu and discovery. Most of the games are fun but familiar, while one is an instant classic that deserves its own spotlight. If you’re looking for something brand new, Legends of Trivia makes The Jackbox Party Pack 11 worth picking up — but let’s hope the next pack doesn’t rely on nostalgia to fill the table.
If Jackbox Party Pack 11 is anything to go by, then the second decade of Jackbox is going to be great. There's a familiar feel to the pack as a whole, but it's really well put together and there's a great injection of noisy new ideas.
The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is another fantastic set. One of its strengths is that it has three games that are variations of classic Jackbox Games. But that could also be a deterrent for people who own some Jackbox Party Packs already.
When it comes to Jackbox Party Pack 11, there is likely a game for everyone in your circle of friends and family. No, I don’t like drawing on my phone but since that mode keeps appearing in every pack, I imagine it’s popular with someone.
The formula ain't broke, so Jackbox Party Pack 11 doesn't fix it-offering five original new multiplayer games for its tried-and-true formula.
Jackbox 11 is a return to form, with the excellent Legends of Trivia and some of the best interpretations of a creative drawing game or funny prompt game, this Party Pack would be an excellent addition to your party nights. If it's a long-standing addition remains to be seen, but I'll be spending a lot of time in Pack 11 in the near future.
If you were a fan of Jackbox Party Pack 4, 5, and 8, then you will have a great time playing these games with your friends or even complete strangers. Some of the game modes are not optimized to be played in a loud environment, but if there is a will, there is a way.
