Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes is a cool experiment in the Little Nightmares world. I just wish they pushed it a little further because what is here mostly works, it just peaks too early.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes successfully adapts its unsettling world and atmosphere to VR. A must-play experience (though perhaps a bit too short) for fans of the series.

Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes is a short but intense nightmare. All in all, this foray into VR doesn’t feel like an experiment. To me, it’s a successful evolution that reinforces the core of the franchise: vulnerability, tension and grotesque beauty. Despite the short playtime, a few pacing issues and some control problems, this is a highly immersive experience. Fans of the series and horror enthusiasts get exactly what they’re looking for: an intense, physical and beautifully crafted plunge into an unsafe nightmare.

Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes successfully restores the legacy of the series and brings back its hype for me. Those who are already invested in the franchise shouldn’t miss this entry by any means. This experience is truly hard to describe, and you won’t fully understand how well-crafted it is without actually trying it. My only complaints are that the story feels a bit short, the puzzles are somewhat average, and there is an absence of smooth motion camera control, which slightly affects the overall flow of the experience.

"Little Nightmares" works surprisingly well in VR, delivering a fresh perspective on its eerie world. Environments and enemies feel larger, more threatening, and more grotesque than ever. Unfortunately, it doesn’t fully capitalize on the medium. Interaction is limited for a VR experience, leading to frustrating trial-and-error sequences, and some ideas feel underdeveloped rather than fully realized. Just as it starts to gain momentum, it’s already over. Still, fans of the series will find plenty to appreciate.
