Star Wars: Galactic Racer is an absolute treat of a racing game. The rogue-like element feels fresh in the genre, even if they aren’t the first to ever adopt it. The campaign mode and characters are genuinely great to watch, sprinkled with surprises and Easter eggs for fans. Racing itself is a masterpiece; grappling with handling and acceleration makes for an awesome learning curve and the audio experience is incredibly enthralling. This is probably the very best time to be a Star Wars gaming fan and Galactic Racer deserves a lot more hype than it received pre-launch. Don’t sit on the fence, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is exceptional and a must have.
It's worth sticking with it, as Star Wars: Galactic Racer has an awesome multiplayer mode, and the interlocking systems lead to gameplay that stays fresh and keeps mixing things up with each new track, a rarity in the racing genre. The difficulty might be off-putting, but it's worth pushing through and reaching the pole position.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer is a fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that gets a little repetitive thanks to its heavy reliance on repeatedly revisiting the same slim selection of planets, but has successfully lit the afterburners on a long-dormant slice of the Star Wars universe.
