Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] Reviews
Kingdom Hearts Collection 1-3 on Switch 2 is a fantastic package that is so close to being completely on par with the Integrum Masterpiece release.
So, if you dreamed of sinking your teeth into this colossal treasure trove of games for the first time on a Nintendo console, or simply being able to play them on your new console anywhere, that day has arrived, and without having to suffer major technical sacrifices.

The Kingdom Hearts Collection I–III gathers nearly the entire "Seekers of Darkness" saga and serves as an excellent entry point for those who have never followed Sora and his companions. Conversely, those who have already completed the journey on last-gen consoles are unlikely to find reasons to experience it all over again.

Overall, if you've never played the series, Kingdom Hearts Collection I~III is great value, but for those of you who've already sunk an absurd amount of time into Sora's Disney-filled adventures, it's harder to recommend.
There are a few duds in this massive bundle, but most of these games are worth playing.
While the game offers great bonus content and countless hours of gameplay, it doesn’t dramatically improve on the original games.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is enormous, charming, and mechanically fascinating, but it remains an awkward proposition for newcomers and isn't compelling enough for veterans.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is the latest effort from Square Enix in bringing together the vast majority of legacy Kingdom Hearts titles together.
KINGDOM HEARTS Collection (I-III) gives owners of the Nintendo Switch 2 a fantastic collection of games that all run superbly on the hardware. It is finally here!
This package is the best way to catch up with the franchise before Kingdom Hearts 4, offering the timeless masterpiece that is KH2’s combat and the enchanting story of KH1. KH3 has its share of highs and lows, but its spectacular visuals, creative worlds, and emotional moments still make it a worthwhile part of the journey.

Kingdom Hearts Collection [I ~ III] is the definitive collection of the saga that unites Disney and Final Fantasy. Although some of the included packs don't benefit as much from the improvements, the highlight is Kingdom Hearts III, which features much more dynamic gameplay thanks to 60fps. However, while it manages to attract new fans, factors such as the high price and lack of localization continue to weigh on it as negative points. Still, the journey of Sora, Donald, Goofy, and their friends remains fun, exciting, and magical.

Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] is a very good correction for a host of games that suffered from the initial cloud gaming incarnation. The Switch 2 has once again proven that it can handle games of this caliber without having to sacrifice a great deal, and while Nintendo-only fans will benefit the most from this package, those who mostly play on the go will also enjoy these quality ports. Unless you've already played these games to death or already own them in any of their various forms, this collection is well worth owning.
The curious thing I experienced while replaying a lot of these games is seeing the trajectory of how Kingdom Hearts seems to gain more and more confidence to be its own thing and not just reliant on its Disney influences. But even from the very first game, this is a series that uses Disney as a means to tell Sora's story with familiar fairy tale tie-ins. It's truly incredible storytelling that, for as easy as it is to poke fun at names like "358/2 Days," tells an intricate, rewarding tale.
KINGDOM HEARTS Collection \[I–III\] is more than just a bundle of games; for Nintendo fans, it marks a significant moment, bringing nearly the entire saga natively to Switch 2 after years of limited availability on the platform. With an enormous amount of content, essential entries, and an opportunity for newcomers and longtime fans alike, the collection offers a comprehensive way to experience the series. Although performance issues in Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind and 0.2 Birth by Sleep, the absence of Melody of Memory, and the lack of Brazilian Portuguese support are disappointing, the package preserves what makes Kingdom Hearts special: a convoluted yet heartfelt story about friendship, hope, and the strength people find in one another. After so many years, finally being able to experience this journey natively on a Nintendo console is a tremendous joy.

Kingdom Hearts 1-3 on the Switch 2 is be the best way to play the games, bringing all of the experiences into a package that is best played on the go. Outside of some framerate and loading challenges with KH3, the games are in their best form and both 1 and 2 run like a dream. There is so much to chew on here, and anyone looking at KH4 in 2027 needs to bring this package to their system (though grab that SD card for extra space). I will continue to pop in and out of the games, enjoying my time with Sora and his Disney buddies. Stay tuned for full reviews per game in 2027. Play on!
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] offers a convenient way to experience Sora's journey on Switch 2, but uneven performance, large downloads, and missing content hold it back. Great for newcomers, less essential for returning fans.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] stands as a historic action-RPG monument, packaging hundreds of hours of the beloved Square Enix and Disney crossover ahead of the fourth mainline entry. Still, on PlayStation 5 it remains an overly safe and redundant port, failing to offer tangible upgrades, quality-of-life additions, or long-overdue Portuguese localization.

The KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] brings together a vast portion of a unique saga, featuring several of its best entries and hundreds of hours of adventure. While not all the games have aged equally well and some stories are presented solely in cinematic format the collection remains a fantastic opportunity to discover or revisit Sora’s journey. The Switch 2 version allows for a native, portable experience, though some titles do exhibit technical inconsistencies.

As a huge fan, all I can say is that you simply have to get your hands on the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I–III]. It’s the best possible version of each game, and at a great price – especially when you consider just how much content you get. It’s simply the perfect refresher on Sora’s adventures in the run-up to Kingdom Hearts IV in 2027. Although this edition probably won’t set the world alight, I’m glad that Square Enix is finally releasing an ultimate collection for one of their biggest franchises after all these years. And now it’s time to grab my Keyblade – Gawrsh! May your heart be your guiding key.

Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] is a massive game bundle that encapsulates one of the most ambitious RPG franchises of the last 20 years. This collection stands out for offering the definitive versions of the saga's main titles, visually memorable world design, an exceptional soundtrack, and a vast amount of content—including the Re Mind expansion and other extras that cover story developments from titles no longer available on the market. However, the collection omits key installments like Melody of Memory and other perspectives from the Chi mobile saga. Additionally, converting titles such as 358/2 Days and Re:coded into mere movies devoid of gameplay diminishes the collection's value in terms of game preservation. Despite this—and considering its price—this collection represents a great opportunity to get ready for the launch of Kingdom Hearts 4.
