World of Warcraft: Legion Reviews
This is the expansion World of Warcraft players have been waiting for, even if your faith has been shaken by somewhat mediocre expansion packs over World of Warcraft’s 12-year history.
Legion is the best work ever done on WoW, and I say that as someone who remembers the original development process from alpha to the launch of the original “vanilla” box. I’m not known for giving high review scores. Legion earns one.
World of Warcraft: Legion is easily the best product Blizzard Entertainment has released since the initial launch of World of Warcraft, and is an excellent expansion that every World of Warcraft player should at least try.
There are plenty of moments in Legion that make you smile, and playing with friends has been the engaging social experience that WoW has missed for a long time
Legion is everything it was promised to be and more; a part apology letter, part defiant challenge to any other games in the market thinking the old wolf was weakening. It is a love letter to its playerbase, to its most committed players, as well as the most approachable welcome to anybody coming back or starting fresh. It is the anti-Warlords of Draenor and, with the exception of FFXIV, the greatest comeback possibly in gaming history.
Legion is excellent, a thoroughly enjoyable expansion made all the more impressive by the base game's age. It might have taken a demon invasion, but WoW's players are back together at last.
New content that’s less like busywork, and more like meaningful progression.
Legion, while offering little to new players, is a worthwhile purchase for returning and current subscribers
Blizzard does it again. Legion is one of the best (if not THE best) expansion in the history of World of Warcraft. I'm having as much fun as with The Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King. The game returned to its roots and is offering a sense of true wonder. Even if PvP is a bit broken there's no better time to return to WoW.

World of Warcraft Legion is by far Blizzard's best expansion for this game. The story, the characters, the new gameplay mechanics, the new class and everything that involves makes it feel like a completely fresh, different and dynamic game. Do not miss the opportunity to experience this new expansion of the game that has gone on in history as the best MMORPG of all time.

It has been a few years since World of Warcraft has rekindled that magic that had me logging in every night, rotating between my different characters and doing my best to maximise each of the available professions, but so far Legion has once again helped me to find that spark.
World of Warcraft: Legion does the greatest job so far of really connecting players to its world. Unlike the past several expansions I really want to be a part of this universe and see this story through until its end. This is the best WoW has been since Wrath -- believe it.
Legion injects excitement into a game that for the past year has survived on being better than most.
Legion succeeds at making you feel important, even if Azeroth itself sometimes feels bland by comparison.
With the new World of Warcraft-expansion, Blizzard manages to bring new life to a widely beloved mmorpg that's been on the decline for ages. The Demon Hunter Class, new, intriguing zones and questlines and extended character development possibilities combine to form the greatest WoW-experience to date.

World of Warcraft is back to its full splendor. An epic story is the background to the new expansion, that brings improvements and radical changes in the mechanics. The classes have been completely revisited and, despite some simplifications, Legion guarantees an impressive variety.

If can it continue to learn from its mistakes and embrace the things that made the game great, this expansion will keep players fighting until the Burning Legion has been defeated for good.
Legion is what every World of Warcraft player have been waiting for a long, long time. The new Demon Hunter is a well-received addition, the gameplay is still the same as twelve years ago but at the same time is different, and better than ever. With its epic scope, this is probably the best expansion ever released for WoW.

At least at the start of the expansion, this is a new high point for World of Warcraft. Proof that Blizzard still has plenty of juice to squeeze out of it. Proof that even when the Legion is relegated to farm status, there’ll be many more adventures to have, and that they’ll be worth the wait. And proof again that while Blizzard can’t hope to please everyone, it’s not going to stop trying its best.
I won’t deny that some of the quests still whittled me down with the tedious ‘run here, collect ten X, and run back’, but those are few and far between…
