You are never at risk of encountering anything unexpected when playing Zenith, but cutscenes are unpredictable and quite intelligently written (and even well directed at times), so they are genuinely entertaining. But the game is an action RPG by the numbers, and it gives the distinct impression that it is a vehicle for delivering the comedy. This would be fine, but that vehicle would need to be enjoyable and on this one, the wheels have fallen off.

This videogame is practically broken on PlayStation 4 and its story relies only on a very dull humor. Its graphics are too old to be featured in a game of this generation.

A fun game due its jokes, but not the most polished one. Zenith can be considered ugly, his AI dumb and the graphics aren't great... And even with that, still entertains.

Zenith isn’t just badly made – it’s appalling. A boorish, cynical failure of a comedy game broken in ways I’ve never before seen. The fact it somehow – everso rarely – manages to show a glimmer of wit under all the misery only worsens the deal, highlighting how this could have perhaps been something decent before it was run through whatever thresher led to it becoming the mangled carcass it is.

Zenith is a game I wanted to enjoy more, and there are plenty of times I did have fun, but the combat was the most un-fun and unfair aspect of the game, and that’s what players will be doing the majority of the time.

It’s pretty funny, and that alone can make it worth a playthrough.

I personally enjoyed Zenith, the story and writing kept me going though all the various issues it presented. The amount of bugs, glitches, and technical performance issues just can’t be overlooked, especially for a casual gamer.

To sum up, Zenith is a game that everyone should give a go. It's charming, funny and just well made in general. Don't let the classic RPG setting fool you, Zenith is one for the books.

Zenith’s gameplay issues don’t stop it from being a very workable system in a very entertaining genre. If it was devoid of its plot (or, better yet, with a more interesting narrative), I’d actually be arguing that it’s an enjoyable little game. However, the relentlessly juvenile attempts at humour never let up, and I didn’t laugh once. I think that says all that needs to be said about Zenith’s fundamental issues.

I had fun playing the game for my Zenith review. It’s a very humorous button mashing game where you can just relax and have some mindless fun without worrying too much about things. I can definitely see where they could have improved the game, so hopefully a patch is coming for all of you!

All in all, Zenith's shallow combat and lack of replay value would have been easy to ignore if the game had delivered on its promise of humour. Instead, there are tons of jokes, but most of them miss the mark. After a long enough period of time, the bad jokes stack themselves to the ceiling, and then topple over. This creates what can only be described as an apocalyptic level of misery. Whatever interesting qualities Zenith had to offer are buried, and the player is left sitting in uncomfortable silence. Suddenly, ten hours feels like an eternity.

Is Zenith a good option for action RPG fans looking for something to play on PS4? It depends. Do you like dry and sarcastic humor? Do you enjoy when games make fun of other games? Do you hate barrels? If you answered yes to these questions, then you should definitely dive into Zenith!

Billed as an action RPG mixing traditional mechanics with a healthy dose of humor in concept Zenith sounds pretty solid...

Simplicity and humor, those are the premises of Zenith, an action RPG similar in style to the Diablo franchise, which offers us a rather rogue sense of humor as the engine and driver of the adventure. It works but halfway, as it suffers from little fresh and too simple mechanics, and a technical section that lacks work behind. Still, if you want to have a fun time with a very "Spanish" humor you can give it a try.

A funny RPG, with a simple combat and roleplaying system, but great characters and locations.

Ultimately, Zenith is one of the most disappointing games I have ever played. I had high hopes for this one. The amount of issues this game has is mind-blowing, especially with how promising it looked. Despite this game being released originally in 2016 it looks and plays like it belongs on the PS1. The creators put a lot of love and detail into the plot, but far too little attention to any other area of the game.

As a game, Zenith functions just enough to play. Its sloppy controls and buggy mechanics coupled with its sound issues and childish dialogue leave what little hope the story had to offer lost.

I struggle to find much positive about Zenith, it's like a movie with a great script acted out by children on the worst stage possible.
