Destiny 2 improves on every single detail. The story might not be the best in the genre, but the amount of content is impressive and the gameplay is better than ever. One of the best action games this year.

Destiny 2 takes the core gameplay of the first game and surrounds it with a much more confident, cohesive experience. This isn't Destiny reimagined but it is Destiny refined, and while that may not be enough to win over those who were left disappointed by Bungie's efforts three years ago, it doesn't change the fact that this is without a doubt one of the best shooters on PS4.

Destiny 2 fixes most problems of the first game and becomes number one project for fans of deep and complex cooperative experiences on modern consoles. The game largely met our expectations, and in some aspects even surpassed them. And although developers promised more drama and epic in the main story, campaign satisfied us rather than disappointed. In many respects due to great work with locations and game mechanics, diversity and amazing alien worlds' vistas.

Destiny 2 offers more loot, more locales to explore, and most importantly, more story to play through. Whether playing solo or in a fireteam, this is Destiny at its absolute best.

Destiny 2 is a great game that champions over the first game in so many ways. I highly suggest it to both FPS and RPG fans alike.

Destiny 2 takes the groundwork set out by its predecessor and refines some of its rough edges, especially in terms of its plot.

I think for most of the hardcore Destiny 1 players, this is simply not the game we were expecting. This one is built for the casuals. That's not necessarily a bad thing. I played more D1 over the past two years than probably all other games combined, but Destiny 2 is just going to be another game in my library. It won't consume me, but I will enjoy it every time I load it up.

Whether I'm popping Cabal heads, tossing grenades, or making swift 180 degree turns, the game feels outstanding to play.

The PC version of Destiny 2 is everything the game already offers, only better: the loading times are less frustrating, and the graphics really benefit from the extra power of the most recent video cards (framerate, details...). Unfortunately, some of the deplorable connectivity errors already experienced on console found their way on PC as well.

The PS5 version of Destiny 2 caters entirely to its committed community with a smooth 60 frames-per-second that accentuates its tremendous gunplay, taking it to new heights for console players. Further perks include another frame rate mode in the triple figures and dramatically shorter load times to ensure the action comes quicker than ever. While new players will continue to be overwhelmed by almost everything it has to offer, Destiny 2 in the next generation is a crowd-pleaser for those already playing - a fanbase that has learned to both love and loathe the experience at the very same time.

Bungie has delivered an amazing experience with its PS5 update. From the silky-smooth frame rates to the field of view sliders, Destiny 2 has never felt this good. All the enhancements the PC community has been able to experience and take advantage of are finally on consoles. Cross-gen support along with the same content drops means that regardless of what console you play on, you're getting the best version of Destiny 2 that your system can run.

As of now, Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen neither excites nor keeps me engaged. The “core gameplay loop” might as well be called the “chore gameplay loop” owing to the mechanics involved. But, these are just my impressions from the first few days. I’ll see what else is in store in the coming week since the game will have another Battleground map.

This time, Destiny 2 offers a much better and balanced experience, with the help of a real campaign mode and a lot more content. Fans will be pleased, newcomers also, and they will all hunt rare loots together for the months to come until the first extension.

Destiny 2 returns strongly. The confidence of ex-players will be hard to win with their DLCs policy and a gameplay system too similar to the previous one, despite significant improvements. However, it hides one of the best and more entertaining shooters you can find today. The level of addiction it causes in players is insane. The best new IP of this generation is consolidated.

Destiny 2 is one of the most fun games I've played this year, and it does well to tackle one of the biggest issues I had with the original. Featuring a stellar, albeit easy, single-player campaign, excellent combat and class mechanics, and the most enjoyable cooperative multiplayer I've seen in a shooter since Gears of War 4, Destiny 2 is a must-have game.
