WRC 7 doesn't unseat Codemasters' Dirt 4 as this year's premier rally game, but it definitely continues Kylotonn's upward trajectory in the genre.

WRC 7 offers hours of entertainmant and features all the official licenses of the champisonship. However, the game fails where its previous installments also did, like the feeling of an artificial driving and other issues. WRC still has some major aspects to improve.

WRC 7 isn't perhaps the most exciting racing game out there, but while it lacks some of the drama of Codemasters' offerings, this is still a well put together and technically sound rally game. WRC 7 proved to be not a bad rally simulator, which is worth trying if you already played quite enough of DiRT Rally and DiRT 4, but you want more. Of course, if you do not mind the faded soundtrack and simple graphics. If you played WRC 6, there's nothing essentially new in WRC7.
