Monster Hunter World is one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I’ve ever had. While the game is somewhat slow to start, the payoff is more than worth it thanks to the stellar multiplayer and how refreshingly accessible Monster Hunter World is for series newbies.

Monster Hunter World exceeds all expectations and presents itself as one of the best entries of the series so far. Besides some minor issues with a overloaded UI and some questionable help mechanics the game manages to keep you on enjoying the grind and is definitely the best title in the series for newcomers.

Although I feel a little heretical when playing this series on an American console, Xbox One beautifully renders the world and offers great control and visuals that underscore the revolutionary march forward. This isn't just a variation of past games in a series where two or three fines are added and otherwise you go repete. Here is a strong leap forward, where you can feel the development in every way: entering the world, discovering it, the village system and the possibilities of multiplayer.

Capcom did his homework by starting a new chapter in Monster Hunter's story. May the results match and give the creators the green light to work on the next part on PS4, XOne and PC... So play, hunt, play and hunt!

Monster Hunter: World is a vastly complex action-adventure game littered with plenty of menus that customise the various weapons and armour pieces, while gathering useful resources to assist the hunter in taking down the next big monster. The gameplay loop of hunt-upgrade-hunt-upgrade is an addictive one that rarely stumbles into "grinding" territory, although some may see the whole game as a grind. Fans of the long-running series will find plenty to love with this latest edition, although newcomers will have an accessible title with which to dip their toes into. Do not be fooled, though, as this is not an easy game that sugar-coats the experience. Monster Hunter: World is hard, but it is satisfying to do the homework on each monster, preparing well for them before dishing out some hunting justice and slaying them for their materials. While the battle system can be mechanically clunky, and issues will surely arise in every fight, this is by no measure a deal breaker, as the majestic monsters and beautiful locations with the addictive gameplay loop and complex systems more than make up for it.

Honestly, if the Low and High Rank portions wasn't as polished and an incredible experience to go through. This score would be 7/8 margin just because compared to previous games, the rotating event quests, RNG investigations for RNG loot, reduced weapon and quest pool, and less challenging solo player end game. But, with the incredibly constructed world, incredible combat experience, and cohesive experience. The downpoints are more just demands for more content.

Monster Hunter: World is a huge step forward in the action RPG saga from Capcom. Despite some simplifications in the gameplay mechanics realized to welcome the new players, the developer has managed to create an awesome hunting experience in a big and detailed open world. A potentially endless game incredibly fun to play with friends, an experience that will change and evolve in the next few months with live events and updates, as promised by Capcom.

Whether you are a veteran hunter or a newcomer to the series, Monster Hunter World is a great action game to play by yourself or with friends. You can easily get lost in the game for more than 100 hours, and not regret it for a second.

It all boils down to a simple conclusion. If you love fighting large dragons and dinosaurs, playing with friends, and enjoy a lighthearted experience full of pulpy action, you will love Monster Hunter World. The story presented isn't exactly one for the ages and there are some nitpicks to be found with the control scheme, but it's a game that sinks its teeth into you and doesn't let go.

When a long fight with a monster culminates in other monster's invasion, and when you jump on the back of your prey after it starts to run away, it's hard not to be amazed by this game. A fantastic job by Capcom and a great start for 2018's AAA games.

With a vast new world full of life, Monster Hunter: World evolves its formula to appeal new players, but for true veterans the effect is a dream come true. Critical adjustments to the formula makes this entry easy to get into it which results in the perfect place to spend a long session of hunting with friends.

The essential Monster Hunter experience that you can't afford to miss. Despite the clumsy nature of the combat, the game is well tailored for newcomers and veterans of the series alike.

Monster Hunter: World is an amazing experience to have. I enjoyed my time exploring everything in the game. The world is beautiful, the monsters have unique designs and fighting style, and finally the depth the game offers with its weapons, each weapon plays differently and require some time to master. The game is enjoyable if you play it alone, but it is way more fun with friends. Sadly, there was some connection issues with the servers prevented me from playing online at sometimes, and even if the servers worked just fine, the complicated steps to start an online game might impact the experience for some players.
