Bayonetta 1+2 Reviews
Bayonetta 2 is a classic, and one of the finest, most wonderfully insane action games ever made.
If you missed Bayonetta's Wii U outing, this is the perfect time to catch up.
The first Bayonetta is slowly showing its age, but its more robust sequel remains at the top of its game.
After almost a decade Bayonetta is starting to show her age, but that doesn't stop this hyperactive melee/shooter action mashup from being one of the most rewarding and memorable cult hits of the previous generation. Despite being a three-plus-year-old port, Bayonetta 2 shines brightest on Nintendo Switch. It runs without a hitch at 60fps, looks incredible in both handheld and tabletop modes and offers an addictive free-flowing combat formula that sprinkles in platforming, light exploration and a ridiculous story to create something that you simply need to experience.
Bayonetta on the Switch is a fantastic port for handheld mode but there's not much improved for TV gamers aside from load times. Bayonetta 2 remains one of Platinum's best games, and is a treat on Switch just as it was on Wii U.
Even though both games are coming well after players enjoyed them on several other platforms, the Bayonetta games remain near-perfect examples of pure, unfiltered action and spectacle. Both Bayonetta games seamlessly blend escalating action with imaginative design and a combat system that toes the line between accessibility and making you feel like a true badass, and rewarding players with careful timing and experimentation. Bayonetta‘s over-the-top action and style may not be for everyone, but for Switch owners looking for a bit of blood-pumping action to have on-the-go, it's easy to recommend having Bayonetta show you a good time.
A classic that now is becoming portable without losing anything on its way. Bayonetta 2 is still an essential game despite the time since its launch on Wii U. This version may not provide excessive improvements or novelties, but if you didn't play at the time, you are facing the perfect opportunity to do so.

Bayonetta 1 & 2 are the perfect choice if you have not had the chance to play them previously. Its style fits perfectly with the Nintendo Switch controls and the quality of both games is still amazing.

While these might boil down to being relatively straightforward ports from Wii U to Switch, that doesn't make them any less essential for fans of the action game genre and Platinum Games' work… unless you've already played them both on Wii U. Either way, with Bayonetta 3 in the works, the Switch is now the witch's new home.
A fantastic sequel and one of the greatest action games ever made, and now available on a format that people actually own.
The core of Bayonetta remains as solid and frustrating as it was when it first released. It lacks the polish, semi-coherent story, and rich color palette of its superior sequel, sure, but it's so masterfully designed and brazen in its direction that it's still a must play for every action game fanatic.
Two amazing action games make their way to the Nintendo Switch - and they're just as good as before. However, we really wish there was some kind of graphical improvements compared to the Wii U versions, even though the improved framerate in docked mode is worth a lot.

Everything I've seen suggests that this is the version you want if you've never played any of the Bayonetta games before.
[Bayonneta] can be appreciated wherever you want, with a solid and granitic 60 fps, and a better visual experience on the go. The remastered version of Bayonetta 2 is a moral imperative for every owner of the Nintendo Switch who didn't play the most stylish and crazy action series of all time.

There's a good reason action game fans will be looking to buy Bayonetta 1 for the fourth time and Bayonetta 2 for the second time. To create a series that includes an incredibly deep combat system, an absolutely insane story with the characters, music and gameplay to match the insanity, all while managing to satisfy both the casual and hardcore crowd is certainly no easy task. Bayonetta 1 & 2 rank as two of the best action games of all time, and now you can play them on the go. What's not to love?
Bayonetta deservedly made a real sensation in the world of action games. An insanely charismatic heroine, a fascinating gameplay with spectacular cutscenes, energetic battles, an interesting story with jokes, brutal fights with bosses really wowed us. Now two these amazing games available on Switch. And we can't to wait to play Bayonetta 3.

When the Witch of Umbra decides to dance under the pale light of the full moon, we will extend her hand to dance with her. And now, with the hybrid version of Kyoto, we can stand by it at any time, always ready to brandish our weapons and torture the divine army. On Switch, bayonetta's two chapters find their ideal refuge, adapting appropriately to the pace of portability and maintaining considerable fluidity during the action.
