Spyro Reignited Trilogy Reviews
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a game best enjoyed in bite-sized sessions, otherwise it soon begins to feel like a chore.
The Purple Dragon returns in one of the best remasters of a classic franchise.
Overall, I think anyone who's a fan of Spyro, or 3D platformers in general, should pickup the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Despite a few flaws, the games still play quite well today and, in my opinion, are well worth a playthrough
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a lovingly crafted experience that is bound to satisfy anyone who was a kid during the era of 90’s mascot platformers. It’s a joyous and relaxing experience that made me smile at almost every turn.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a beautifully realised remaster of the original titles which, thanks to today’s technology, fully matches the potential and ambition the games had in the 1990s. Fans old and new will find loads to love here
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is the best way to experience the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy, two decades after the first entry was released. The games on offer were never major classics, of course, and their heavy collect-athon nature won't appeal to everyone. The new, upgraded version is simply beautiful, making the originals look even older than they truly are, so Spyro fans will simply love this… as long as they have the patience to endure 30-second-long loading times (or more).
Activition managed to deliver a quite perfect platformer game with remastering Crash trilogy, now Spyro Reignited Trilogy continues this trend of reviving of old series. This could be an alert for companies like Nintendo that have the opportunity to remaster their old gems.

It might not be as famous as Crash Bandicoot or as well made as the Nintendo 64's finest, but this still a gorgeous remake of a classic series offered at an attractive price.

No matter how much we want to go back to the days when things were simple, all we really have left is nostalgia.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy relies on the nostalgic accuracy of its colors and commands and turns out to be a fun and enjoyable game. It does not provide great challenges, but it entertains and satisfies all ages, from the oldest player who accompanied the original games to the novices in this world of jewelry, dragons, colors and lots of fire.

A consistent triple whammy of 3D collectathon platforming remade with extreme care and faithfulness to the original material. Spyro Reignited Trilogy plays well, looks fantastic, and is rarely an overwhelming or difficult set of adventures, with small worlds that are simple to conquer and ideal for a younger audience. By the time of the third game, things are a little more gimmicky, and there is a repetitive nature about the constant running around and collecting, but these colourful platformers still manage to deliver real delight if you try not to blast through each game one after the other.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a great way to experience a fantastic collection of games. Accessibility tweaks and small additions make this the definitive way to play the original trilogy regardless of whether you're experiencing it for the first time or revisiting one of your favorites.
Spyro may not be as popular as Mario or Crash bandicoot, but we were pleased to see him play, fight, blow up the fire in a lively world with the same childish enthusiasm 20 years after our first encounter

Spyro Reignited Trilogy pays homage to its original releases but doubles down on impressive visuals and updated controls making for a perfect winter platformer. Toys for Bobs respect the original vision while bringing in their twists. I hope Activision use this remake to bring us a mainline Spyro adventure in the next generation of systems
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a better remaster than Crash Bandicoot Trilogy, but it is not perfect. It is perhaps the most faithful recreation of the original games and deserves all the praise, but there are some minor technical issues with the load times and performance that cast a blemish on the remaster as a whole.
The Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a fantastic remake of the original Spyro trilogy. It expertly toes the line between loyalty to the classics and updating the originals. I would absolutely put it in the high end of remasters, and I felt it did an even better job than the recent Crash Bandicoot remaster. The only real flaw is that it's still a port of PS1-era games, so if that play style isn't up your alley, Spyro Reignited probably won't change your mind.
Although Spyro the Dragon and its subsequent two sequels haven’t aged as well as one would hope, Toys for Bob has done a good effort to put out a remaster that does the nostalgia justice.
Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a great way for the cute purple dragon to come back, the games looks and art breaths live into the characters with many adventures that can be enjoyed by older gamers and youngsters too.
