Beat Saber should be the go-to for introducing people to the potential of VR gaming. Its simple to learn, damn near impossible to master rhythm gameplay is outstanding.

There are various complications, including bombs and walls that have to be ducked out of the way of, with the latter also working much better with Quest because of the lack of wires and freedom of movement. Which in turn also make this the perfect game to play with friends, given how easy it is to pass the headset around for someone else to play.

Imaginative use of VR to make one of the best new music games of the generation, and which also manages to be the best Star Wars game never made.

Beat Saber is a blast, and one of the best experiences you can have in virtual reality. You truly feel like a musical samurai (even if you look silly to everyone watching)

A stone cold VR classic and a game every PSVR 2 player should own. Even five years on from its original release, Beat Saber is worth every penny.

While the second half of Beat Saber's Lizzo Pack is clunky, the first half more than makes up for it with incredibly catchy tunes that will have you (sword) dancing to the beat in a gorgeous new stage. Consider me a fan of Lizzo now, because these songs are definitely going to be the highlight of my daily workout.

Even with these setbacks, you still get a brutally exhausting, immensely fulfilling gameplay loop with masterfully charted songs. However, until those issues are fixed, what you have is merely an adequate port.

Beat Saber is a thrilling rhythm game that makes ideal use of virtual reality to envelop you in an enthralling tour down the coloured highway, time after time. We suspect it's the kind of game that will resonate with just about anyone, VR sceptic or not, and it's an essential addition to any PlayStation VR owner's library.

Although fluctuating in terms of content, Beat Saber is an unmissable game for any PlayStation VR owner. Whether you use it in a group or alone, the product has always proved to be fun and, if used with skill at the highest difficulty levels, even satisfying, as well as an excellent expedient to exercise without even taking time away from your favorite hobby.

Beat Saber has just about everything I want from a rhythm game. It is an experience that can only be done in virtual reality and it is done so well. It has a great tactile feel thanks to the rumble of the controllers and incredibly satisfying combo-driven gameplay. While the soundtrack is solid, there really aren’t that many tracks and said tracks lack stylistic variety. However, that hasn’t stopped me from playing hours of Beat Saber, even if I’m sweaty and my eyes are throbbing afterward.

Beat Saber is possible the best VR experience ever made. It is an incredibly satisfying rhythm game which uses the immersion of VR to evoke a sense of scale, power and energy that hugely enhances the underlying gameplay loop. The mechanics, music and VR environment tap into something deep in your psyche that creates an irresistibly fun and empowering experience.

Beat Saber is among the defining VR titles, pushing the platform forward in fun and unique ways. Driving music underlines a virtual reality experience that's a huge workout. Despite being exhausted, I found myself losing hours at a time to Beat Saber, replaying my favorite tracks to try and master them. Simple, fun, and addictive, Beat Saber has a hook that will immediately grab players and keep them engaged for a long time. Hopefully Beat Games continues to support the platform, adding to what I would consider an essential VR experience.

Beat Saber is, to put it simplye, one of the best VR games we have ever tried so far, and one of the coolest and most rewarding music games ever. The soundtrack is overall very good, but unfortunately a little bit limited for a game of its kind, and we could also regret the absence of an online VS mode, but no good reasons shall turn you away from this fantastic rhythm game, which is an instant classic for virtual reality.

Beat Saber is an awesome VR game that should be in everyone's collection. However, a fairly limited official song collection keeps it from being as good as it possibly can be.

If you love rhythm games and want to dispose of some calories accumulated during the holiday season, Beat Saber is a candidate as an excellent title to play in company, also thanks to a not excessively high purchase price and a formula that works very well, which make it a unique product for sony's VR headset.
