Just Cause 4 is a game for those who want to be creative, but those who don’t mind when it is all taken away and they have to hack into some consoles in-between waves of generic enemies. Fun, but not as fun as it could be.

Just Cause 4 is an unnecessary sequel. The creators had the means to create a massive game, one that'd succsed by any means but in the end, Just Cause 4 does not meet the requirements for a standard AAA and is nowhere near it's true potential. If you're planning to buy it then I'd recommend you wait for an offer cause  you're going to experience a lot of flaws tagging along with a really bad performance.

Just Cause 4 is a fantastic playground of chaos, giving players the tools and creative options to sow seeds of complete mayhem. It's only when you step away from that mayhem, following the path of the campaign put ahead of you, that you'll find repetition, lack of character, and a disappointing open world.

Just Cause 4 is fun when you're unloading lead, dancing around lightning, and blowing things up but it lacks significantly elsewhere. Avalanche has released a very unpolished open world experience that feels outdated visually and mechanically. To add insult to injury, the story feels bland and continues to make Rico one of gaming's most uninteresting protagonists despite his wide array of skills and gadgets. Just Cause 4 isn't a really bad game, it just has a lot of shortcomings and issues that hold it back from being something more than average at best and really mediocre at its worst.

A sequel that on paper had huge potential, Just Cause 4 is unfortunately a bit shabby and light on genuinely new ideas, beyond the novelty of lightning storms and tornadoes. The core gameplay remains good, explosive fun, but Rico is evidently running out of steam.

Just Cause is undoubtedly a fun series with a devoted following. When you embrace the chaos there can be a lot of fun to be had, but it's when you look deeper at the nuts and bolts it isn't a bustling sandbox you find. It's more of a litter tray, full of waste. If you expect the finest the genre has to offer you're bound for disappointment, though if you're after more of bedlam Just Cause is famous for then this fourth iteration is what the doctor ordered.

If you enjoyed the last game in the series then Just Cause 4 will give you a lot of fun creating explosions across the world, it just doesn’t push the series in any meaningful direction.

Just Cause 4 introduces some new interesting features like strike missions and an immersive frontline but does so at the cost of doing away with the familiar liberation system that fans of the series know and love. The result is a Just Cause game that doesn't quite feel like a Just Cause game, which might not sit well with some folks. Hopefully, the next game in the series finds a way to merge both as the game's base mechanics continue to be a hoot for players with creative minds.

There's explosive fun to be had in Just Cause 4, but it's mostly a rehash of old ideas.

Just Cause 4's traversal system can be wonderfully entertaining, and the chaotic, explosion-sim physics in play are frequently exhilarating, but they're manacled to a game that has absolutely no idea how best to use them. What's the point in giving players an array of tools that lets them cause wanton destruction on a gargantuan scale, and then designing a campaign full of drab, copy-pasted missions that barely require you to use them? It's a bit like getting the coolest BMX on the market for Christmas, but then your Mum tells you you're only allowed to ride it around the garden where she can keep an eye on you. Cheers, Mum.

Just Cause 4's thrills give way to repetition and a dull mission structure, but it's a ridiculous roller coaster while in full swing.

Traversal and destruction highlight Just Cause 4 and new gadgets add a welcome layer to the formula, but missions rarely bring out the game's best features.

It's an improvement on the last game but as a franchise Just Cause is still squandering the majority of its potential with its banal mission design and dull storytelling.

An open world game needs to be engaging and exciting for dozens of hours, and JC4 doesn't manage that feat. It has amusing moments, but it isn't $60 worth of fun unless you really love the series. If you're interested in this game, I suggest you wait til it drops to $25 on sale. It's a nice distraction, but not much more than that.

Just Cause 4 provides fun moments of thrilling chaos and destruction, but the game suffers from a repetition that can not be overlooked in the way tasks are performed and provides a superficial story with predictable events. Although the size of the destruction is limited compared to the third part, Along with the ability to navigate the virtual world quickly and smoothly

Avalanche Studios has brought novelties, such as the huge amount of easter eggs and weather conditions, making the game fun, but it's full of mobility issues, and textures that don't match. Not to mention the story and extremely repetitive missions, that make the game interesting just by having an extensive map and abundant jokes.
