Assetto Corsa Competizione Reviews
Assetto Corsa Competizione offers the best sim racing experience on the market in terms of feeling, immersion and handling. There's still room to polish and improve some features and add more content, but Kunos Simulazioni just had a burning start and goes straight to the first corner leading the group.

When released on the PS4 and Xbox One, ACC shot to the top of true sim console racers. It attained this title despite the limitations of those consoles. The PS5 and Xbox Series solidify ACC’s dominance. For the first time in sim racing history, a console version can share the starting grid spot with its PC brother.
There's more than just an endurance racing licence to distinguish Assetto Corsa Competizione from its predecessor. It's more polished, more precise, and offers more scope for long-term single-player satisfaction.Phil Iwaniuk
At the end of the day, if you're a big fan of ACC and want to get the best the game has to offer, this new-gen release is exactly what it's supposed to be. It's one of the best racing sims ever created, and the new-gen improvements are exactly what ACC needed in the first place.
Great simulation model with night driving and accurated weather conditions. Career mode and multiplayer aren't perfect and lack of some interesting feature.

Assetto Corsa Competizione turned out to be a much more controversial title than we would have expected. To drive is a small jewel unique in its kind, but it still appears too immature in some areas to be able to unequivocally beat the competition.

The Blancpain Championship helps build more professional feelings to this race simulator. The overall physics, driving experience and AI are way more better than its predecessor.

Assetto Corsa Competizione hides, behind a theme that may seem unattractive, one of the best driving experiences available on console. The new generation improvements are led by that performance at 60fps, new content for more races and visual improvements that do not give the feeling of a new generation. But deep down, it's just putting the icing on a cake. For those passionate about competition, it remains a benchmark.

The game will repay and take into account the time devoted to it with emotions, which are often in vain to find in other titles, having hundreds of cars and focusing more on the surrounding of what driving is, than on the very essence of giving the realities of the racing driver's efforts.

Assetto Corsa Competizione dons a next-gen suit and becomes the best console version of itself. There are some minor flaws here and there, but those who want pure simulation can finally try their hand at a monster of authenticity, now more beautiful than ever.

Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Seris X is the definitive form of the course simulation on consoles, finally incorporating in these platforms all the progress made on the PC version in these years of work and refinement.

It may be a little rough around the edges, but Assetto Corsa Competizione provides an excellent simulation of GT racing.
Assetto Corsa Competizione for PS4 is a good porting for one of the best driving simulation available right now, that despite a few compromises keeps a racing experience similar to the PC version.

Where the original console release of Assetto Corsa Competizione had some huge caveats hanging over it, the game's release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S brings it up to spec, effectively matching the PC version. It still has some weaknesses in presentation and structure for new players in particular, but once you get into the groove, it's one of the best sim racers you can buy right now.
With its massively upgraded visual presentation and much more responsive racing together with a surprisingly immersive DualSense implementation, one of the best hardcore racing simulators out just got even better on PS5. This is the definitive version of Assetto Corsa Competizione on console and that fact alone should be a cause for celebration for anyone with even a passing interest in highly detailed racing simulations.
The real fun of Assetto Corsa Competizione lies in the pure simulation, in cutting half a second to a track that we already had mastered, in finding the balance between speed and sanity, in seeking perfection by setting our best time. On console, it is practically a terrain that dominates this franchise alone, not so on PC, where community giants like rFactor coexist with it. Even better reason to stand out with this quality proposal (finally also technically) in which realism is everything.

Unfortunately, if you don’t have the spare cash for a wheel and pedals, it’s a sub-par racing experience that leaves the taste of burnt rubber in your mouth.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is also nice to play on consoles. Net of some inevitable compromises, the work done by the development team to keep the physics engine of the game unchanged on PS4 and Xbox One is really incredible.

Assetto Corsa Competizione isn’t a racing game for all. It doesn’t provide quick and easy thrills, with a career mode focused on building a garage full of cars and customising them to your liking. It’s a serious game for those serious about racing. Thankfully it’ll hit most of the right notes that sim fans look for. It’s just a shame that graphical fidelity has been prioritised over performance. Other than that, there’s not much to dislike here unless you’re a newcomer to the sport, or are stuck with playing with a controller.
