Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint Reviews Summary

Summary: Ghost Recon Breakpoint doesn't manage to retain the goodwill earned by Wildlands. That was an enjoyable reimagining of the series, but this is just more of the same. Where it does iterate, it's unwelcome to, like unnecessary gear scores and looter shooter elements. This live-service game may be repaired over time, but it'll take a while.

Repetitive

Fails to push the series forward.

Buggy

All sorts of issues ensured a messy launch.

Bloated

Feature-creep breaks the game.

I would recommend ‘Breakpoint’ to gamers but not just yet. ‘Breakpoint’ has a lot of potential but still just needs a bit more tweaking before it’s perfect. That said, it is still very enjoyable for anyone who loves a story driven game with a deep back-story as its foundation.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint expands on the sandbox structure of Wildlands. By adding new systems to this massive game, Ubisoft creates a constant reward loop for players wanting a harsh, stealthy playground that can be gobbled up by a band of friends.

Nothing unusual! Just another amazing game from Ubisoft as most of its games in this generation. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not only one of the best games of this series, but also it is one of the best games in this generation. Some technical issues might annoy players but except from that, you can say that Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a perfect game.

Unlike its predecessor, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint risks alienating the very community it was built for due to its over-reliance on RPG-esque looting and leveling mechanics. However, shooter fans who can make peace with the game's loot-driven economy and pervasive microtransactions will find a lot to enjoy in the moment-to-moment gameplay. Breakpoint isn't quite the tactical shooter sequel fans asked for, but there's no denying the amount of long-term value it offers to shooter fans of all stripes.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a well made successor to Wildlands that doesn't really manage to iron out every flaw of its predecessor. Countless bugs and lifeless NPCs reduce the otherwise great realistic shooter experience. If you are looking for a good tactical shooter at the moment you should still definitely get this game, no matter if you want to play it in Singleplayer or in Co-Op online with friends.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint has many problems. The loot system is boring, the story isn´t that good and you don´t feel lost behind enemy lines. Anyway the gameplay is good, new mechanics like the ability to disguise and the need to tape your wounds are great. You can play it together with friends and explore the large open world.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a great shooter that gets repetitive after a while.

It's not the best game I've ever played but it's fun, it's thrilling, action-packed and incredibly addictive.
