While you might at first think you’re in for a repetitive time as you go through the first few floors and find nothing but standard hotel rooms, things get quite unexpected as you continue higher and higher.
Luigi's Mansion 3 revolves around your bond with the triumphant vulnerability of the company's most maligned mascot. The result is a Pixar-caliber hero that you'll want to spend a full 18 hours exploring with.
While the 3DS title may have received mixed reception, Luigi's Mansion 3 is a wonderful return to form from the first title that does the series justice.

It's also the undisputed high point of a franchise which – following this sterling release – will hopefully get even more love and attention from Nintendo fandom, and the gaming community as a whole.
This is a huge step up for a franchise that has always been enjoyable but never felt special. Well, Luigi's Mansion 3 is special. It's a spooky adventure full of top-notch puzzles and so much charm that you'll be convinced by the end that maybe Luigi has been the best brother all along.
Fun for everyone, Luigi's Mansion 3 delights with its themed bosses and exploration. It's a slow burn though, and not everyone will appreciate it's pacing.

[Luigi's Mansion 3] is a contained, crafted experience, no more and no less than a professional, clean and near-perfect execution of an idea that you already like. It is not shockingly new or transcendent, but you don’t always want that. It is relentlessly charming, consistently charming, and punctuated in every moment by the sheer joy of sucking.
Many ghosts, many settings, many new ideas and the usual lightness of the series: Luigi's Mansion 3 is the best chapter and is yet another great game for Switch.

Luigi returns with an adventure which most remarkable virtues hide behind his playable mechanics. Nintendo has managed again to create a game where what we do and the environments that we travel through are with connected tightly. The game and the player meet in an experiencie the feeling of discovery is the greatest reward and, ultimately, makes Luigi's Mansion 3 get into the list of the rest of Nintendo Switch greatest titles.
