Indivisible Reviews
Indivisible is a gorgeous game that beautifully blends genres to create an engaging, exciting experience. This is a pleasantly refreshing take on a much reproduced gaming formula.
Indivisible is one of the best RPGs of the year. A masterclass in game design, Indivisible is funny, challenging and creative in equal measure.
Don’t let the nondescript and somewhat generic title cause you to look away. Indivisible is charming as all hell, sweetened with a bit of old school flavor, and a product of high craft in every regard.
With an enriching story, characters, and scenery, Indivisible is a spectacle and one of the best action platformers I've ever played.
Indivisible is the new Lab Zero Games title that brings together three genres such as platforms, RPG and metroidvania. Perfectly combined with a story that catches the eye thanks to its characters, Indivisible is a unique and indispensable experience. Without a doubt, one of the hidden ones at the end of the year.

It's been about over four years since Indivisible's announcement, but I would have to say that the wait was worth it. Do yourself a huge favor and play this game.
Just like in nature, where the platypus, Indivisible is a hodgepodge of ideas that somehow creates the best experience I have had in an indie game all year and is a contender for my game of the year.
This is one of the best indie games to come out this year. Lab Zero has already shown that they know how to make an amazing fighting game and now they have shown they know how to make an amazing platformer and RPG as well.
Indivisible manages to be something fresh and new, without ever getting too outside of the box.
Indivisible is just as good as it ever was, and the visuals hold up well on the Nintendo Switch. The story is engrossing, the gameplay is challenging yet fun, and the hand drawn environments are beautiful.
Indivisible takes the best of RPGs and fighting games and mixes them with a world full of secrets to find and a healthy dose of platforming goodness. While it doesn't reach its full potential in some areas, it's still a great time throughout.
Everything in Indivisible – from the colorful visuals to the "Oooom" noise when you save your game – is calculated to delight. Despite some uneven difficulty, both the platforming and battle systems entertain. But it's the character design and voice work that is really the star of the show here, making Indivisible a strong contender whether you are a genre fan or not.
A mixture of lovely characters and a world brimming with imaginative ideas is complemented by a rock-solid combat system and experimental platforming that blend together strangely, but just works. If you're after a smaller adventure in-between the coming month's biggest releases, not much will shine brighter than this gem.
Lab Zero's crowdfunded Valkyrie Profile-inspired RPG has finally released and the result is a brilliant game filled with personality and heart.
Indivisible is a fantastic RPG hybrid brought to life through beautiful hand animation, a captivating score and an insanely addictive combat system.
What’s delivered here is a throwback to a classic era of RPG’s that’s been sorely missed – Indivisible taps into the addictive battle system, unique cast of characters and standout music classic Square Enix RPG’s were celebrated for. Indivisible is a passion project that’s just as great as it was promised to be.
Indivisible has taken years to finally release and it was well worth the wait. The incredible graphics, amazing characters, and terrific gameplay combine for an excellent adventure. Ajna's journey from village girl to humanity's savior is a gripping tale full of character-defining moments and outstanding boss fights. It does lack the in-depth customization that RPG fans enjoy and the upgrade system is shallow as well. But these shortcomings rarely hamper what is one of the best games of 2019. Indivisible delights and challenges the player with a beautiful journey that will keep you hooked to the very end.
Between the integration of RPG and platforming mechanics and the downright beautiful presentation, I can easily say that this game is one of the best that I’ve had the pleasure to play this year. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is that its battle design can become repetitive and boring if you let it.
Overall, I would highly suggest Indivisible for anyone who’s looking for a great experience. There’s a lot to love, from the environments to the characters.
Indivisible offers a brilliant mish-mash of genres that doesn’t only look beautiful, but also just so happens to be a heck of a lot of fun to play. Between the effective Metroidvania-style exploration and the entertaining combat, there’s plenty on offer to get you completely absorbed into the adventure. It does have some imperfections, most notably with the in-game map and the easy difficulty of the game, but they certainly don’t hamper what is otherwise a fantastic experience that Nintendo Switch gamers will definitely want to be a part of.
