Warcraft III: Reforged Reviews
I brought up "the old Blizzard" in this review because this is a first time in a while (yes, even counting Diablo III at launch) that you can really sense a huge shift at the company in just about every sense. Warcraft III: Reforged is both the beginning and end of an era. It works to a degree thanks to the immense talent of the original Warcraft III creators and custom map fiends, but it doesn't quite feel like Blizzard, does it.
Warcraft III was a great game, but I struggle to find a reason to return to it in this form. Reforged has a laundry list of bugs, lack of polish, multiplayer options markedly amiss from the original offering, and uninspiring new assets
An inexplicably careless remaster, where none of the changes are unequivocally for the better and the experience is brought down further by numerous bugs and missing features.
It grew the universe and helped define that high-fantasy art-style we've come to know of as “hey, that looks like a Blizzard game”.
Warcraft III is still one of the best RTS ever made, yet this Reforged edition is just a lazy remaster. That's because many features are missing and the game is plagued by a significant amount of technical issues.

In this state, the best way to describe Warcraft III: Reforged is "serviceable." Taken as a whole, just like the original, the remaster offers a great gameplay experience for newcomers, but there's not much here that would justify a purchase if you've already played the classic.
A successful update of a great game's presentation, but which removes a number of features that may leave old fans hurting.
Warcraft III Reforged is at least equal to itself and it is already something. Yes, its graphics engine fails to display a fluidity worthy of the finesse of its redesign. But the game mechanics, the storyboarding of the campaigns and augmented narration convince the player even more that he is facing one of the big names in the history of video games. If you are not a player who is looking to be sharp to enter esports, you will also have a great time online. Don't give in to blind bashing. Make your own opinion!

Reforged is an uninspiring remaster, but Warcraft 3 itself is still a great game nearly two decades later.
All in all, playing multiplayer with everything available in Warcraft III: Reforged is a great experience. It's a smooth, attractive and altogether great experience for those who are wanting to see the game that started the DOTA craze as well as a game with one of the most thriving and energetic modding communities in the world.
Fans of the original are clearly miffed but, if like me, you missed it the first time, or haven’t played in ages, Warcraft 3: Reforged is a game that simply must be played
Reforged, like a lot of remasters today, is good for a run around if all you wanted was to give your nostalgia a long leash
There’s a reason why it’s a classic.
Reforged ultimately feels like a dusty museum exhibit more than a faithful remaster or an update into the modern age. It could have been an excellent way to introduce this story and game to a new generation. Instead, it’s a halfhearted release that misses the opportunity to bring Warcraft 3 back to its old audience while hopefully finding a new one.
“If you set your expectations a little lower, then Warcraft 3 Reforged is a game worthy of your time and money. Sadly, for many of us out there, we were expecting a little more”
Is Warcraft III: Reforged worth it? Of course, but only provided you've never played Warcraft III or if you want to relive its great single player campaign. As far as the multiplayer goes, there are big problems there, that will surely require some time to get fixed.
