F1 2020 does as much as can be expected from Codemasters, offering an oustanding racing experience on the track. Where it goes further is off of the track, bringing in an incredibly extensive My Team mode, as well as fleshing out the career mode with a full Formula 2 season. With a massive amount of content, great racing and quality throughout, it's hard not to love the game. The only real issue I have is the inclusion of the new Podium Pass (battle pass) system, adding a microtransaction for cosmetics.

F1 2020 is the most complete and accesible entry in the franchise until now. Fans of the series must not miss this one, and newcomers will certanily feel welcomed thanks to all the new options and customization.

F1 2020 manages to bring enough content with its new "My team" proposals which add yet another interesting layer to an already excellent base. We still regret the redundant side of the pre-race training programs (not enough variety), but it is ultimately the lot of Formula One that does not reinvent itself every day either. If you love F1 and want to enjoy it virtually, F1 2020 is the best and it is not because it is the only one.

Despite the difficulties of balancing linked to the delayed start of the F1 championship, the final result is definitely appreciable. The British team seems to have put in place a complete and playful articulated product, which alongside the tested guide system of the series combines new contents of excellent workmanship.

If this is how F1 goes out on current-gen, Codemasters should be proud of where it's taken the series, not only in making it more open and accessible to players of all skill levels, but also in bringing unprecedented depth, detail and immersion. Make no mistake, F1 2020 is the best Formula One game money can buy and a stellar racing experience in its own right.

Overall, F1 2020 is a really great game a fun and challenging play. Whether you looking to continue your yearly quest of trying to take down Mercedes, or you’re a complete newbie to the sport and just wanting to get out there and run, this is a great game for both.

F1 2020 continues Codemasters' excellent form in delivering a fantastic recreation for Formula 1. The new My Team mode injects new life into the series and is far more welcome than Devon Butler was last year. It's never easy making iterative releases relevant but they sure do seem to have a grand plan in play. One wonders what we'll be treated to next year, but until then there's a bucket load of fun in F1 2020 to keep you entertained.

Formula 1 is back with F1 2020, the latest game in Codemasters' annual franchise. Each game has seen steady improvements over a number of years, but does F1 2020 keep with the current trend? Whilst there are some issues, Codemasters have gone above and beyond to provide a brilliantly realistic F1 experience.

When it comes to simulating a professional sport for both newcomers and veterans, F1 2020 is a masterpiece. It won't let you get disappointed if you're looking for highly stressful and exciting racing experience, though it's not a perfect game in the case of visuals.

While I do not think the game does enough to celebrate Formula 1's 70th anniversary, the rest of the elements, the actual important parts to represent the motorsport, are rather excellent and the added assists means anyone can pick up a controller and play.
