Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Reviews
When it works, Fall Guys is a remarkably fun experience. It’s a rich and satisfying romp that silly yet rewarding. It’s the exact kind of game we needed right now, a perfectly joyous distraction from a lot of the shittyness around us. Fall Guys has the structure of a delightful game with a lot of longevity. All it needs now is continued support and smart updates to propel it even further forward.
Fall Guys is not only a charming, whimsical take on one of television's biggest spectator events, it's on my shortlist of the year's very best games. I don't think the Mediatonic team could have ever dreamed just how big of a success their one-page pitch inspired by It's A Knockout would amount to. It's insanely addictive with the rapid turnaround episode-to-episode making it easier than ever to keep telling one of gaming's biggest lies: "Alright, just one more."
In its current state with the solid start it has gotten off to, Fall Guys is already an extremely enjoyable and unique game. With a little bit of work, it might just become the best new multiplayer release of the year.
Games like Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is hard to review. Some people will tell you skill makes little to no difference, something I'd probably agree with for the most part, and the unpredictable elements can be annoying, yet it still manages to be engaging.
In an era swamped with Battle Royales, Mediatonic’s cute-chaos gameshow earns a spot among the finalists.
One thing is for certain, we really, really hope that the game has a long shelf life. It’s the cartoony, bean-themed, chaotic, assault-course rumble that we never realized our lives were missing.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is sweeping the globe with its popularity, but is it any good? With a ridiculous number of players trying to play the game on launch, Fall Guys seems to be the next big multiplayer game, but does it have staying power? Will it become a battle royale titan, or will we forget it in a week's time?
Fall Guys is addictively chaotic multiplayer mayhem, and the mid-season update delivers some great new features that add to its replayability.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout delivers a great party game mixed with the battle royale genre. Mediatonic managed to deliver something fresh and frantic that will appeal to every kind of gamer (and even non-gamers).

There is a very good reason why Fall Guys has taken the world by storm already; it is absurdly, addictively brilliant fun. Give in to the jelly beans, you will not regret it.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is extremely funny, goofy, and I have never stopped laughing while I play it. I can play it with my friends in the same round but it's a pity that I can't really co-op with them.

It’s a fun little game while it lasts – but the question is, just how long will it last? There’s no denying it’s one of the most accessible battle royale games out there; even if you’re not a fan of competitive multiplayer, Fall Guys is easy to jump into and get a kick out of. But it’s a kick that is more than likely short-lived.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout works because it maintains that “one more game” mentality and encourages players to overcome its challenges.
Ultimately, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout manages to be a refreshing and whimsical take on the battle royale genre. While it might be a stretch to consider it a battle royale game, it’s not difficult to imagine that the success of such titles may have spawned the concept of the game.
So, we're happy to report that Fall Guys is definitely worth trying out on Xbox, and the fact that it supports cross-platform and cross-progression with other platforms means you can mix-and-match across Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, and that aspect seems to be working really well in our experience so far. We've had to wait a couple of years for its arrival, but it's great to see Fall Guys finally joining the Xbox family in 2022!
With just a few small additions, such as private matches and cross-play, this would quite simply become one of, if not the best party games available on current platforms. It can't be underestimated how difficult it is to create something quite so accessible and fun simultaneously.
Whether you play solo or with your friends, Fall Guys is such a sweet option if you like party-style fun games.

Even tough servers are far from being optimal, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a great fun to play, whether you like battle Royale games or not. Mini games are mostly fun and the whole idea is something new in a battle royal genre that makes playing Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout filled with laughter and also hard work for catching that crown!

Fall Guys is more like a hilarious comedy picture directed by Mediatonic Studios, and reminds us that video games are not just about winning over other players, and sometimes its about having fun with family and friends.
