Metro Exodus on PS5 is the ultimate version to play. The visuals are better than ever, and the DualSense implementation is remarkable.
Metro Exodus PC Enhanced Edition presents the original game along with all the DLC and greatly enhanced ray tracing technology.
Metro Exodus Complete Edition not only runs at 4K 60 FPS for PS5 and Series X. The game shows great lightning effects (ray traced), new high resolution textures... and it is still a great single player, story driven FPS.

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition is, simply put, the best way to experience the game. The hardware requirements are steep, but if you’re lucky enough to have a ray-tracing enabled graphics card, there’s no reason to play the original release instead of this version.
Metro Exodus: Complete Edition gives us rare example of fully fledged ray tracing technology on console systems. It's a competent update that really changes the overall look of the game.

The end result is a vastly improved version of what is by far the best title set in Dmitry Glukhovsky’s apocalyptic Russia – even if the voice work, in English at least, is uneven to put it kindly.
Metro Exodus on PS5 is one of the best survival wastelands to explore on the new console. With enhanced textures, stunning ray-tracing and global illumination, and immersive DualSense implementation, what is on offer here is an experience like no other. If you skipped it on PS4 or want to play again, there is ample enhancements here that make the Moscow Wasteland worth exploring all over again.
Although 2019 didn’t quite peg the games-quality meter as much as the prior year, it did have its share of standout titles, Metro: Exodus included. The game sold enough to spawn some excellent DLC as well. For anyone who missed Metro: Exodus in its original release and can scale the graphics card barrier to entry, the Enhanced Edition is definitely a must-buy. Thankfully players without the requisite gear can still enjoy the game’s other, less major, improvements and fixes too.
Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition for PC is an add-on that enables advanced ray tracing effects and it works only on RT-ready video cards from AMD and Nvidia. While it does look impressive on PC, it may be more interesting for next-gen console users, since it makes the most of advanced graphic capabilities of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Fortunately, both the original and enhanced version of Metro Exodus looks fantastic – the enhanced lighting just provides more opportunities to better appreciate everything the game has to offer. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that it’s like playing the game for the first time, but it’s pretty close.
Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition is a solid introduction to the ray-traced future of gaming, barring minor technical hiccups.
Metro Exodus on new consoles is a visual and technical feast.
Metro Exodus shows some heart, and it's clear the developers have poured a lot into this third chapter of Artyom's story. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that keep the game from hitting the standard set by its predecessors. Pacing is hamstrung by the ambitious misfire of an 'open-world', while performance issues and glitches mar much of Exodus.
Head out from the Moscow Metro into the wider Russian Landscape and try and find out what state the world is truly in and if there is any hope of a new life.
Metro Exodus is back in a high-octane enhanced edition to push your new gaming hardware to the limit.
Metro Exodus: Complete Edition can cut both ways, and while it's appealing to some of the older fans of the series, it can't keep everybody happy. The extraordinary atmosphere and the great story however may be enough to give it a try.

The game technically performs tens of times better and smoother than the eighth-generation versions, and thanks to Ray Tracing, the game's apparent quality is fantastic.

Metro Exodus is a worthy successor to the previous installments, which introduces new mechanics, and improves on those already seen in previous titles. Even with some glitches, it's an excellent game to debut the new generation.
