Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade provided an interesting part of the story, as it was telling a side of the character Yuffie, and despite its shortness, the game provided a beautiful experience and an enjoyable addition if you liked the full game, then this addition adds a lot of fun things.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade looks great with better textures and lighting. Also, having the option to play it at 60 fps is a god send and makes it the definitive edition of a modern classic. INTERmission is a nice extra that fans of the JRPG can't afford to miss.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is an amazing but very pricey upgrade to a game that quite rightly got our Game of the Year 2020. Graphically, the difference this time around is notiacable and the brand new DLC is a fresh new look an an adventure we've played out many times before.

A masterpiece that should be played by anyone who loves Final Fantasy VII. It teaches a lesson on how to make a remake.

If you liked Final Fantasy VII Remake, you're going to love Intergrade. I know that sentence has a lot of "well DUH" energy, but it's the truth; at its core this is an enhanced version of one of 2020's best games. From visuals to framerate, Intergrade improves upon the original, with some scenes really popping off of the screen thanks to the PlayStation 5's prowess. Intermission is at its core more of the same, but the tandem attacks are an excellent addition and the story implications are intriguing. It's not Part 2, and Lord knows when that's actually happening, but for now Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade scratches the FFVII Remake itch.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the definitive edition of the first installment of the PlayStation One classic reimagining for the next generation. It has graphics and performance improvements, new features (such as photo mode) , as well as an additional complement to its incredible storytelling. Now we can only wait for what will come in the future of the franchise.

Final Fantasy VII Remake was already an outstanding release, but Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade SOMEHOW makes it even better. Whether it’s with the improved visuals, the smoother performance, the faster load times, or the additional content that fleshes out the Final Fantasy VII Remake universe further, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade offers something to please everyone. I don’t care if you poured hundred of hours into the base game already… this is one PlayStation 5 port that you simply should NOT ignore. And by the way, Square Enix… I’ll NEVER stop pronouncing Yuffie’s name as yuff-ee.

The game looks so good on PS5 that I was happy to visit Midgar for the second time. And a successful DLC from Yuffie adds a few hours of equally good content with a beautiful animation introducing the upcoming second episode of the adventure.

As a complete package, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade just feels like the definitive version of an already perfect game. And the addition of Episode INTERmission is a great excuse to bring old players back for new content (or just a solid extra couple of chapters for new players).

If you love Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, this game was made for you — literally. It expands upon character motivations, adds backstory, creates new relationships both good and bad, and finally, it lets us play as a fan-favourite character who is the polar opposite to the main game’s aloof, Buster Sword-wielding spiky boy.

Final Fantasy VII Remake INTERmission offers a short introduction into the world of Yuffie Kisaragi, which most players can easily skip. The lack of new elements to the main game and the short and generic trip through midgar, make it really hard to recommend this DLC, even with all the technical benefits from the PS5 Upgrade.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: Episode INTERmission allows us to return, a year later, to Midgar, to have a bridge for what will be the sequel to the first part of the remake.

Playing this game in its “Intergrade” form is such a privilege that is truly magnified when you get to experience 60fps and almost no loading times. Anyone who owns a PS5, whether replaying the game or a first-timer, would surely enjoy this release in its most polished state, the way it was meant to be played, fixed doors and all. As a whole, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a complete experience. They’ve improved on the visual fidelity that corrected a lot of the hiccups from the PS4 version while adding the INTERmission side content enables the story to open up to a much larger world away from the Midgar-centric stage.

FFVII Remake Intergrade is a game full of moments both expected and unexpected. It is packed with people you recognize and, unless you went all in on Compilation of FFVII, don’t. Its fundamental gameplay is tight and does enough that it engages you with what-ifs. What could happen this time and how will things change since Square Enix is able to things out more? And with FF7R INTERmission especially, we’re getting hints of how additional stories could go.

I enjoyed Final Fantasy VII EPISODE INTERmission, in some ways even more than the base game. While it is a shorter experience and doesn’t include all of the same features, it felt more focused. Yuffie is a great character who brought a lot of humor to this INTERmission and who I look forward to seeing in the main series.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is a must-have game for any player. Intergrade further enhances this package, offering a very polished technical look with beautiful graphics. The novelty is the Episode INTERmission which, despite not being exactly mandatory, offers a new story, some new elements in combat and plenty of challenges. It's not exactly short in content, but its price is slightly above what it offers.

In the original game, I visited Wutai more because I was a completionist than anything. But with the events of the base game and the Intermission DLC, I’m pumped to see Yuffie’s homeland, what’s going on with Avalanche there, what Shinra’s doing, and possibly the resolution with Don Coreno. When Final Fantasy 7 Remake was first announced, I was hoping for a game that was pretty much 1:1 with the original. However, Square Enix’s direction with FF7 Remake has impressed me with how the extra worldbuilding and tweaks to the plot have enhanced a game I already cherished. I can’t wait to play the second part, and this DLC was a great morsel to tide me over until then.
