Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Reviews
Unless you’re a hardcore Valhalla fan or someone who is particularly enamored with finding a collecting the (admittedly cool-looking) new armor sets, wait for this one to go on sale to satiate your craving to plunder.
Dawn of Ragnarok does enough to satisfy by the time that the credits roll, but if you're burnt out on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, there isn't much here that'll reignite your interest. The mythological angle is well played, the fantastical setting is cool, and Odin makes for an intriguing lead, but after a year of DLC and updates, Valhalla's gameplay loop is wearing a bit thin.
Ragnarök's characters deliver the usual AC Valhalla feeling with a new coat of paint. That's good, but it doesn't tear you off your stool.

Dawn of Ragnarok is an interesting expansion that follows the events of Ragnarok, an interesting period in Norse mythology. The dwarf kingdom, Svartalfheim, is large and there is much to experience. However, what you experience there is old fashioned and therefore already recognizable. That's a shame because it does take you out of the flow. The world is otherwise beautiful and it remains an interesting take on Norse mythology.

If you're not sick of Assassin's Creed Valhalla yet, Dawn of Ragnarök is worth trying. The attractive setting and the new abilities should be enough to keep you happy for dozens of hours.

Dawn of Ragnarok has rich emersion and story in its epic family tale with great emotional weight
Normally, I’d say that Dawn of Ragnarok is just more Assassin’s Creed, but in a different environment and with different enemies. However, I do believe it’s time for Ubisoft to get rid of the Assassin’s Creed naming scheme from everything related to Eivor’s Viking saga. I think this is just piggybacking on the Assassin’s Creed franchise without bringing anything new into the mix.
If you sill want more Valhalla, Dawn of Ragnarok is perfect for you. It brings new fantasy world, new enemies, but mostly same gameplay.

At the end of the day, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla - Dawn of Ragnarök is a nice but not particularly special expansion pack. The plot is fun enough visit into Norse mythology, but unfortunately, that's such a well-trodden area that it feels less special to dive into it. The new powers are a cool twist on the formula, but ultimately, you're still playing more Valhalla. If you enjoyed the game, then you'll enjoy the expansion, but if you've burned out on it, then being able to turn into a bird isn't going to refresh your Viking spirit.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is a solid expansion that introduces some interesting gameplay mechanics and plenty of new content that, at the end of the day, doesn't change how the game is played in a significant way. After a long base game and two expansions, Dawn of Ragnarok definitely needed to be something more to become an essential purchase, as only those who haven't had enough of Assassin's Creed Valhalla will fully appreciate the coming of Ragnarok and the end of an age.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök is a very continuous expansion, both for good and for bad, and that presents us with some other novelty that, without getting it right at all, gives a small breath of fresh air to a content that, for those who have been left wanting more adventures with Eivor / Odin, they will want to enjoy without fail.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is an amazing expansion that introduces us to a lot of new characters, both friends and foes alike.
Ubisoft Sofia has delivered such a big expansion with Dawn of Ragnarok that it can almost be seen as a new game. Especially since the story of Eivor does not continue, but rather the saga of Odin is told. During the approximately fifteen-hour story you will encounter some missions that feel familiar, but it should not spoil the fun.

One of the most spectacular expansions in the history of Assassin's Creed and, without a doubt, the most extensive, with good stories to tell, although in the background it does not provide so many playable novelties.
