V Rising Reviews
I found V Rising to be quite fun and with its many gameplay elements, options, and multiplayer modes; you'll likely find a lot to love here. 🧛
V Rising is one of the most enjoyable survival games I've played. Surprisingly, survival mechanics are not the main focus of the game and do not hinder the gameplay. Throughout the game, we have a clearly defined objective, all garnished with a ton of excellent, meaty combat. If it weren't for the somewhat corridor-like small map, it would be even better, but it's still a pleasant game, definitely worth recommending.

V Rising does almost everything right to offer satisfaction to the player who wants both solid action gameplay, and opportunities to unleash their architectural talents. Unfortunately, the few things it gets wrong are significant enough to keep it from receiving rave reviews.
We awaken as a vampire. We hunt for blood in nearby settlements to regain our strength and, to survive, we must avoid the scorching sun. We build our castle and make it thrive in an ever-changing open world full of secrets. V Rising is a solid networked survival game. The enormous depth of vampire abilities that can be unlocked and items that can be created leaves a lot of room for freedom and customisation.

V Rising is a survival RPG where you play as a vampire striving to rebuild the glory of vampires and establish dominance over the world. Set in the gothic world of Vardoran, you explore various biomes, gather resources, and face different challenges. The game emphasizes progression through acquiring better gear, expanding and maintaining your castle, and mastering various vampiric abilities by drinking blood for bonuses and new powers. The day-night cycle and vampiric weaknesses add strategic depth and a new level of challenge. Despite the enjoyable gameplay, the time investment and competitive nature on live servers can be challenging for players with busy schedules. However, if you have plenty of time to invest in V Rising, it’s definitely a game worth playing. Otherwise, private servers might be a viable alternative.

The vampires are on the loose and... I can't believe I've made this joke a million times. Forget this lead and play V Rising on PC or PS5.

V Rising stands out as an excellent survival game held back by a few minor issues accompanied by the fact that players will most likely get value out of their first playthrough, but feel tired during their subsequent ones. However, the game shines brightly (ouch) with its vampiric charm, extensive base building, and satisfying and varied combat mechanics making it one of the best survival games I’ve played period. The game’s dedication and love for its theme are palpable, evident in its systems, even with weaknesses like garlic being turned into a fun mechanic. Due to these reasons, I am awarding V Rising the Gold Thumb Culture Award.
To the delight of PlayStation 5 owners, V Rising arrived in all its bloodthirsty glory. More than a fun game with well-balanced difficulty, we have an adventure through a vast world full of interesting things to do. Highlights include combat with customizable skills and a robust construction system. In short, another great suggestion for any library.

V Rising is not only an exceptional survival game but a great ARPG as well. With great combat, boss design mixed in with a healthy dose of well-balanced and meaningful survival crafting systems that make progression fun. This makes for a uniquely engaging experience that lets you live out the ultimate vampire fantasy.
V Rising focuses on building and maintaining your own vampire stronghold, which works really well and is fun with sufficient resources. On the way there, however, there are annoying skill restrictions, even more annoying running around the world and generally a rather average action RPG that can't stand out from the crowd enough with good approaches and should definitely be played with others.

V Rising is a triumph of game design, blending survival, action RPG, and Gothic horror elements into a cohesive and captivating experience. From its atmospheric visuals and immersive sound design to its engaging gameplay and rich narrative, the game offers an unparalleled journey into the world of the undead.
V Rising offers a unique and immersive gaming experience worth exploring for fans of survival and base-building games. This is hands down one of the most definitive Vampire games on the market today.
V Rising is a game capable of offering a significant challenge if that's what you're looking for, or a pleasant experience of exploration and construction if that’s your preference. The key is to configure the game to suit how you enjoy it the most; this is essential. On the other hand, the game is clearly more focused on multiplayer gameplay. While it is enjoyable solo, the experience is not quite the same, so keep that in mind.

Stunlock Studios has smartly made V Rising into an addicting gaming loop that makes a good case for providing an experience that potentially has no end if you aren’t looking for one. This is one of those games that can be played daily for a few moments regularly for months, and if I was looking to engage with a game in that way, I would surely be content with V Rising as it does it all right. For now, though, I appreciate it for what it is and know that there are folks out there that will eat it up.
Overall, V Rising is quite a fun package with great progression, but is held back by how extremely grindy it can be.
V Rising shows us that being a vampire lord isn't all about smoldering looks, frock coats, and soaring Gothic architecture. It's a lot of work, apparently. But it has its perks, such as roaming the countryside, picking fights with champions, and occasionally draining them dry for their power.
V Rising, the vampiric work of Stunlock Studios immerses us in a bloody adventure with varied and very well cemented mechanics, offering a great and unique experience. It has absolutely everything and will hardly leave anyone unsatisfied. A bloody adventure in which any player, whether they are related to the survival genre or not, will find a reason to stay.

V Rising stands out in the ocean of current survival games, offering a pleasant adventure with the potential to entertain fans of vampire themes and action mechanics for hours on end. Although the experience is undoubtedly better when accompanied, once you are “bitten” by this title, it is difficult not to let yourself be contaminated (in a good way).
