SEASON: A letter to the future Reviews
Season is a reminder that memories of the past are all we’re left with, and it staples the importance of being able to carry over that knowledge into future generations. Because otherwise, we’re left with a culture that is doomed to repeat the same mistakes and won’t have the skills to work past it.
Season - A Letter to the Future is a joyous experience unlike any I've played in recent memory. It's a calming, cathartic game where you'll end up learning just as much about yourself as you do this interesting and unusual world. The scope narrows in the second half of the game, which was a slight disappointment, but the overall journey was still rewarding making it an easy recommendation.
A wonderful exploration of a world that is recognizable yet foreign. Fantastical ideas mix with the ordinary in a beautiful bacdrop. this melancholy act of remembrance might not play to action fans but it's a truly evocative exploration of loss and change.
Season: A letter to the future is an incredible achievement as it is a risky endeavor to ask a gamer to slow down and breathe in the world they have painstakingly created, but once you let go of your preconceived notions, it will uplift you with its profound narrative.
Few games hold the distinction of both making you want to delve further into their world, while also compelling you to step outside into our own. With Season, you can get lost in the animators' artistic work for myriad hours, but the overwhelming experience of this game will inspire you to savor our world, too.
Scavenger Studio's semi-open-world adventure game is equal parts poetry, memoir, and mindfulness exercise.
Scavengers Studio delivers a beautiful and poetic narrative with Season: A Letter to the future.
Despite some odd gameplay choices, Season: A letter to the future provides a unique narrative, highly immersive gameplay experience, and impeccable visuals, making it an easy recommendation for indie game lovers.
It probably won’t appeal to those who have a hunkering for a more action-oriented experience. But for a relaxing evening on the couch, without much thinking required, the adventure title definitely delivers. It’s simply a beautiful game, both in terms of graphics and the story that it tells, and will leave players with a pleasant sense of wonder, curiosity, and vague nostalgia.
While the voice acting is a little below par, the writing is superb, crafting meaningful, emotional moments seemingly at will, while walking a delicate tonal line between sadness and catharsis. What you're left with is a fascinating, emotionally powerful experience not soon to leave you.
Season: A Letter to the Future might not last long, but it's a lovely experience for anyone who enjoys taking their time, piecing together lore, and photographing everything they see.
SEASON: a letter to the future is an unforgettable road trip adventure that invites players to soak in its serene world.
Season A Letter to the Future is the PS5 gem of the beginning of this year. The atmospheric game captivates from the very first seconds thanks to its poetry and melancholy. A splendid and magnetic game as much on the visual level as the writing of its dreamlike universe. An artistic spectacle as sublime as its narrative premise that remains intriguing during the few hours needed to complete it.

SEASON: A Letter to the Future is a great game with many promising elements to its relaxing gameplay, and while some inconveniences can get in the way, it's an experience worth seeing through to the end.
The proposal is very interesting and will remain in the memory of anyone who allows it. It does a lot with little and shows that in the industry there is room for more intimate titles that focus on establishing a world and giving a message before creating a fun experience, with the good and bad that implies. Without a doubt, an experience to remember.

SEASON: A letter to the future is like a vertical slice of an entire experience. It feels like a part of something bigger and leaves you with plenty of questions, and also wanting more. It is just like life in the sense that it does not give you what you want, and it is up to you to figure out what is going on. The story does a great job creating an immersive atmosphere, but it does not really give a sense of fulfillment. The lack of a proper conclusion leaves things wide open.
Contemplative and profound, SEASON: A letter to the future is a work of art that invites you to discover and record an era that will soon vanish in transition to an unknown world. Traversing the open world with your camera and notebook should appeal to those who want a beautiful, immersive experience of aesthetic creation and philosophical storytelling.

SEASON: A letter to the future is an intriguing slow-paced exploration game that actually makes scrapbooking fun by drawing you into its attractive world as you make record of every sight, sound, and touch before it's all washed away.
Rewarding exploration, enjoyable bike traversal and a gorgeous world make Season: A letter to the future a journey worth embarking on.
Hinting at a grand and epic adventure, SEASON: A letter to the future instead presents a personal, vertical slice of a transient world. Through its small-scale stories and simple gameplay, it exists as a reflective meditation on liminality that encourages patience and presence. It weaves environmental storytelling and player choice into a compelling emotional journey. While it may occasionally stray into an overly-earnest territory and doesn't quite nail its pacing, SEASON: A letter to the future is a special, honest experience and a worthy addition to any narrative adventure lover's library.
