It's been a long time coming, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Persona 5 is an improvement over the last two games in almost every way. There may be some arguments over which game has the best cast, but the mechanics, visuals and general style can't be denied. It fixes a lot of nagging flaws and adds a bunch of features that are so useful it's difficult to imagine ever playing without them. Some minor issues, including a sometimes-stiff translation and a low difficulty level, hurt the experience slightly but should only be considered minor flaws. If you're a fan of RPGs, you have to get Persona 5, which is easily one of the best games available on the PS4.

Everything about Persona 5 is etched in style unlike any other. The battle system is intricate and often delightful. It is so much more than just an ‘RPG with social skills’. This is a game to live and breathe in, one to savor every moment you get to spend with a bunch of wonderfully flawed people. Persona 5 redefines the Japanese RPG with a stylish band of rogues that should please any fan of the genre.

With Persona 5, Atlus has outdone themselves, crafting a thrilling narrative while balancing the social life of the characters. The world is designed with rich, and vibrant colors, and although the dungeons are no longer procedurally generated, I've enjoyed exploring them with my ragtag group of thieves. There are an infinite amount of possibilities thanks to the open end nature of players choices different things to focus on in their character's social lives. If you ever feel overwhelmed, you can always check the Thieves Guild, letting you see what others players did at that precise moment. Persona 5 is certainly a stylish RPG, and while the opening few hours is slowly than I would like, by the time you are freely able to explore the first and second palace, you are well accustomed to the game's mechanics.

Persona 5 is one of the best games in the series, as well as one of the best JRPGs to come out in years. The story is well told and exciting while still being emotional, the combat is fun and really engrossing and allows for some great combinations, and the presentation is both stylish and really fun.

Persona 5 is one of the best role playing games that I’ve played in years. It’s both a colourful and psychological journey through student life and the darker side of humanity. Combine this story of intrigue with multiple comprehensive systems that are all a joy to get lost in and you’ve got something truly special. While some minor pacing issues and some rigidity with how time is managed bring the experience down somewhat, Persona 5 is a game that everybody should play.

Few games can masterfully transport you to a magical world as this game has, as every facet of the game has been expertly executed, whether it's the game's aesthetics, story, characters or even battle system and side activities. This is a skillful developer that knows exactly how to fulfill their ambitions without compromise.

At the end of the day, Persona 5 is a game that offers us the chance to live the perfect high school fantasy life we never had. It’s a chill, feel-good JRPG where you take control of a likable young man with the perfect social life, along with a secret double life where he and his friends save the world from corrupted evil.

Persona 5 is without a doubt one of the best JRPGs I have ever played, not only is its story worthy enough of dozens of hours, but also, it is a visual artwork masterpiece that even the ones who are not into JRPGs or turn based combat will be able to appreciate and admire since the first minute. With an explosion of eccentricity and psychological hyperbole Persona 5 starts with a fast pacing and ends in an artsy masterpiece worthy of standing ovation. Its world, characters, distorted but plausible realities and its overflow of art give Persona 5, with a wide margin, the right to be enlisted among the best titles of the years and to be proudly included in the list of the best JRPGs ever created.

Persona 5 is a phenomenon, experience and fulfillment of fans' dreams. Game that you'll dream about at night and dazzles almost every aspect. The title is perfect and flawless in its category, which also proves that the classic JRPG formula does not have to give up its identity to steal your heart.

At the end of the day, Persona 5 is an unmitigated blast. It unapologetically sticks to its style and pace, and you’ll ultimately grow to love or leave it for that. It does, however, offer a digital ton of content for both new and returning players to enjoy in a way that makes it well worth the price of admission.

Even by JRPG slow boil standards, Persona 5 takes forever to get going and trips over its own feet along the way, losing some progressive teeth in the process. But once it starts going it is still an absorbing experience thanks to some tight gameplay and fetching visuals. If you’re craving a new JRPG that will steal at least a hundred hours of your life while keeping you entertained, this one is for you.

Persona 5 pulled me in immediately, with stylish visuals and music, some fresh ideas on gameplay and of course what always carries this series: characters I truly grow to care for. I struggled to put down the controller for any length of time and I frequently found myself asking 'what if I had chosen to do this instead?'. All clear signs that I was invested in this RPG masterpiece.

Persona 5 is a masterful game, which has breathed new life into the JRPG genre; it has injected a flair of style that hasn't quite been matched before, and as such, has become a new standard for JRPGs to match. Despite this though, the game is far from perfect, but is most definitely the most powerful evolution of Persona to date. Here's hoping we don't get 20 Persona 5 spinoffs and Persona 6 will be able to finally encrust this franchise in the annals of history forever.
