Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake does a decent job of keeping the magic of the original title, while making many improvements in the process. from the addition of local co-op to massive improve in visuals. Although there were room for more improvements, it still delivers a delightful experience from start to finish.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake feels like a missed opportunity to build on the unique concept of the original game. It could have been expanded with new scenes and situations to provide fresh new challenges and keep players on their toes. Given the success of A Way Out and It Takes Two, more work could have been done to make its co-op mode much more intuitive and enticing, too. As it is, it’s successful in beautifying the original game but nothing more, unfortunately.

We often regard remakes and remasters as a corporate form of quick profit, but every now and then a unique title like Brothers Remake appears unexpectedly and you finally recognize what a true videogame labor of love is. It's a project created with passion and true dedication of the authors to recreate something resembling the original as closely as possible and yet sprinkle here and there a little bit of originality and tiny improvements. Even though this tale of two sons is more than ten years old, this remake shows that it is still worth telling!

A masterclass in storytelling and environmental puzzles in a petite experience that is both funny and touching. This remake might not add much but it's a classic regardless of version

The remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a work that brings back in an up-to-date guise a title that thrilled thousands of players in 2013. However, the genre to which it belongs pushes very little towards replayability, and consequently, also accomplice to the fact that there is almost nothing new in terms of gameplay (only the split screen), the purchase is motivated mainly for those who have never had the pleasure of interacting with the work before.

"Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was the start of something special, and that’s how you should view the remake as well. Aside from the improved visuals, the game hasn't been significantly modernized—the controls remain somewhat tricky, and the puzzles are much like what fans of the original will remember. However, the gameplay is smoother, and the environments look much better, making it a nostalgic experience for those who loved the original, bringing back the same feelings from their first playthrough."

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a fine game, and one I recommend playing. What disappoints me most is just how little was done to this version to set itself apart from the original. The gameplay remains untouched, other than a completely clunky and bizarre co-op mode. The main changes were an enhanced soundtrack and graphics, but the large majority of the game is exactly the same as it was before.

Brothers: a Tale of Two Sons is a very beautiful game, and it has its own magic that makes you immersed in the experience, and all of this in a story that is only two hours long. As for the remake, it does not offer anything significant other than the dazzling graphic level, or the presence of a cooperative play mode, so this is The experience is not encouraging if you want huge changes, but it is suitable for anyone who did not play the older version.

Attractive, eminently playable, and available on the current major platforms, Brothers A Tale of Two Sons Remake is easy to recommend to newcomers. While it provides no stern challenge nor a lengthy campaign, it retains an affecting story which is carried without (comprehensible) dialogue. Those who own the original may think twice about picking up this remake, however. Brothers A Tale of Two Sons Remake adds little that is truly new, outside of a well-executed new coat of paint on top of a thoroughly solid core experience.

This remake still has a lot of heart and is worth playing for anyone that missed it originally. And at just a couple hours in length, it's not going to hurt the backlog all that much.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake misses the chance to be a more relevant and creative reinterpretation, focusing only on the visual redesign. In the end, the tale of the union between two brothers to save their father remains charming and cozy, a story that can be enjoyed playing solo or as a couple. Even though the second option makes gameplay even simpler, the best way to get into the fantasy is up to each person's taste.

This remake doesn't offer much new to fans of the original except a shiny new exterior, but if you haven't played the original Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, then this remake is worth playing to experience a short, but packed, fantasy adventure at least once.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is an interesting experience for those who have not just played the first rendition of the game, and the overall experience is a roller coaster of feelings, visuals, and scenarios that the player can be enthralled with, ranging from sad to funny or even dark. Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake impresses with its visual upgrades and co-op mode, yet its unchanged gameplay and performance issues question its necessity for those familiar with the original. Best suited for newcomers, this visually enhanced journey offers little new for returning players, making it a beautiful but non-essential revisit.

Brothers is already a very nice game in the original as well. If you're looking for a straight-forward, simple drama story that you can put aside and want to see it with polished and great graphics, this remake is perfect for you. If you haven't heard of the game before and haven't played it, this remake is a great excuse to taste this adventure.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake can't be said to have necessarily convinced us of its usefulness as a release, but it remains a great experience that should not be missed by any gamer or video game enthusiast, because these are the stories that take the medium one step further and make it stand out from other genres.

Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons was already an incredible game. The original graphics were just dated enough that the larger, higher resolution screens we have available to us today were causing some of the beauty to be lost, unable to stand the test of time. The updated version not only adds to the incredible scenery but also allows the nuance of expression that adds to the already amazing storytelling.
