LEGO Horizon Adventures is a title that aims to bring the story of Aloy and her friends to new audiences. It delivers a story that is easy to enjoy and is capable of entertaining. But it is not designed for true fans of the franchise.

LEGO Horizon Adventures won't do much for anyone who doesn't like the LEGO formula, while also being let down by bland level design and an average hub world, it's still worth an adventure through.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is a title that manages to thrill and engage, but could have dared more. The Guerrilla and Studio Gobo production does indeed enjoy entertaining gameplay, which however clashes with an unfulfilling amount of content, both in the levels and in the side activities. The title is therefore recommended to those who adore Aloy's IP and to gamers looking for a straightforward and no-frills experience, even better if in company.

The impossible crossover between Aloy's universe and the most popular building blocks on the planet knows how to please, but ends up not going very far.

LEGO Horizon Adventures delivers a pleasant and not-so-serious rendition of Horizon Zero Dawn that is both adorable and fun to play. However, its overly simplified and lighthearted gameplay loop becomes too monotonous and one-dimensional after long periods of play.

Guerrilla and Studio Gobo’s LEGO Horizon Adventures delivers an unexpectedly fantastic combination, blending the world, machines, and gameplay of Horizon Zero Dawn into LEGO with impressive style; the environments look fun and the gameplay is engaging, with a lighthearted story full of puns and dry humor that keeps grinding to a minimum, making achievements enjoyable to pursue—though short and priced at seventy euros, the game’s high level of detail makes it worth the cost, even if the final Expeditions could have offered a bit more.

Absolutely stunning, LEGO Horizon Adventures is possibly the most visually impressive recreation of a universe with LEGO pieces in a video game, although it ends up delivering a safer and simpler approach than expected.

LEGO Horizon Adventures really impressed us. The title made by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo in association with The Lego Group and Sony Interactive Entertainment is not only super fun to play (alone or with friends thanks to the local and online cooperative mode) but is almost slavishly faithful to the original material, except for the alternative and decidedly lighter and humorous tone and managing - at the same time - to have a precipitous identity, which is not overshadowed by the very large portfolio of LEGO games from Traveler's Tales. In short, LEGO Horizon Adventures can be considered to all intents and purposes to be part of the world of Horizon and we feel we can recommend it both to those who are looking for a quiet and relaxed adventure, although the rate of challenge especially at the higher levels is not lacking at all, and to those who loved the original IPs, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West.

With LEGO Horizon Adventures Guerilla Games and Studio Gobo deliver a nice action adventure with a lot of LEGO humour and an entertaining combat system that distinguishes the game in a good way from the titles of TT Games. It's a little short, but if you like the LEGO style and humour as well as Horizon: Zero Dawn, it is easy to make a recommendation.

Lego Horizon Adventures is a fun outing that combines two cool things. Familiar Horizon characters, machines and locations are designed in LEGO style. The family-friendly jokes, dialogues and interactions between the four heroes make it an entertaining tribute to Horizon's original storyline. Graphically, the Lego games are starting to look a lot like the Lego Movies and that is a big compliment. However, the limited freedom, the lack of puzzles and the repetition in the levels will be a loss for some Horizon and Lego fans.

In a year full of unexpected delights, LEGO Horizon Adventures stands out as a pleasant surprise. I didn’t anticipate enjoying this game as much as I did, but it has certainly earned its place among some of the titles this year. It goes above the typical family action-adventure genre, delivering an experience that is both engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. While I may not be inclined to explore other LEGO games, LEGO Horizon Adventures offers a fun, humorous, and robust adventure with solid gameplay mechanics. It’s enjoyable both solo and with friends, and the cooperative play enhances the experience as you navigate the game with iconic characters from the Horizon series.

Lego Horizon Adventures transforms the serious world of Horizon Zero Dawn into a playful experience geared towards younger gamers. With a lighter story, fun character twists, and familiar machines recreated in Lego form, it serves as a charming introduction to Aloy’s universe. While hardcore fans may find it a bit basic, it’s ideal for friendly, family-oriented play with loved ones of any age.

This kind of Hades for the little ones bets on good humor, simple gameplay and beautiful graphics, but fails to achieve something that really makes you enjoy playing until the end

LEGO Horizon Adventures is a charming yet simple family game. It is without a doubt the best-looking LEGO game ever made and the world alone is worth the trip. It comes with all the silliness you can expect and a surprisingly fun combat system. Sure, it lacks depth across everything it does but casual players and the younger audience will find this accessible and enjoyable.

Lego Horizon Adventure is a fun game to enjoy with a friend, but it quickly becomes tiresome when played solo. Additionally, it missed the opportunity to make better use of the franchise’s storyline and is filled with silly, unfunny jokes, even for its target audience.

While LEGO Horizon Adventures is a great entry point for younger players, its more mechanically demanding battles offer plenty for veterans to enjoy. It’s moments like these that make LEGO Horizon Adventures one of the best LEGO games ever made.

LEGO Horizon Adventures by Sony, Guerrilla, and Studio Gobo offers an overly simplistic experience. While it is pleasant and easy to digest, Aloy's brick adventure lacks the unique touches that usually distinguish LEGO video game productions. It might attract younger players to the Guerrilla saga, but it will likely fail to engage and excite the more seasoned and discerning audience. Additionally, the pricing seems off-target for what it offers. Sacrificing Killzone for such productions raises some regrets, though hopefully, it leads to dedicated LEGO kits like the one for Tallneck.

“Lego Horizon Adventures” is by far the most beautiful Lego game. The world is made entirely of Lego bricks and impresses with its attention to detail and beautiful lighting. A dream come true for Lego fans. Unfortunately, the fun but overly simple combat system and the boring level design cannot keep up with the high level of graphics.
