Date Everything! Reviews
Date Everything! is much more than its title joke. It’s a vibrant, lovingly crafted, deeply strange meditation on human connection. Whether you’re romancing a haunted blender or unpacking grief through a flirtatious coat rack, the emotional payoff is real.
Date Everything! is fun; it’s funny; it feels safe. The game has both heartfelt and ridiculous moments, but overall, it’s really worth playing. When you see your toaster, you can share a private giggle at the thought and wonder what your toaster’s personality might be like. Give it a try; watch the drama unfold.
Date Everything! isn't just a game; it's a maximalist celebration of creativity, love, and absurdity. Sassy Chap Games has accomplished the impossible by making a 100-character dating sim feel heartfelt rather than gimmicky. It walks a tonal tightrope, delivering laugh-out-loud jokes, touching emotional arcs, and poignant reflections on connection—all without taking itself too seriously.
Overall, Date Everything offers a refreshingly unique experience, packed with clever humor and witty dialogue. While it may not be the most visually striking game, its charm and creativity more than make up for it. I never imagined that everyday objects could be so hilariously dateable—until this game proved otherwise.
Date Everything! explores some mature topics, but it is generally a game that many people will like. Fans of cozy games, visual novels, life/dating sims, and/or the author Chuck Tingle are likely to enjoy this interactive homebound adventure. Regardless of which platform you play on, you are sure to have a chuckle and a good time.
Date Everything! is quite a good choice for those looking for a one-time fun experience and an interesting story. The characters are really well written, beautifully drawn, and excellently voiced. However, the presence of bugs that prevent completing certain character routes may discourage players who want to finish the game 100%.

Date Everything! really does give you exactly what the title implies. From your toaster to your bathtub, from your sex toys to your record player, you get to date everything within your house and the game sets you up with some really fun dialogue, even if upgrading your stats can become a little tedious. It’ll be interesting to hear who your favourite characters were, as they are clearly the stars of this show, thanks to great writing but truly extraordinary voice acting from a stellar cast. Just don’t expect a quick, streamlined affair: you’ll be entangled with this one for some time.
Date Everything brings the furniture to life with incredible, fully voiced dialogue that’s overflowing with both humor and emotion. With characters stuffed with personality, stunning artwork, and a compelling storyline, it doesn’t get better than this.
Coming into Date Everything!, I was expecting a standard visual novel affair. What I didn't expect was a thoroughly entertaining reflection of values when it comes to relationships and people, all deftly expressed with characters made of everyday objects and conversations that run the gamut of the human experience. If you were hoping for the sparks to fly, I assure you, you are in for a whole fireworks display with Date Everything!.
Despite occasionally tedious dialogues and a sometimes forced push for absurdity at all costs, Date Everything! is an original visual novel with quality voice acting and heart.

Date Everything is the blandest game imaginable. Visually, there is little to criticize. The character designs are polished, aesthetic, and cleverly reflect both the characters' personalities and their “object” identities. Add to that an impressive list of over a hundred voice actors, many of whom are well-known and respected names. Unfortunately, where the game should shine, i.e., in building relationships and character personalities, problems begin to arise. The characters are expressive, but often flat and uninteresting in terms of personality. They do not arouse curiosity or emotional involvement. In my case, and perhaps this is a matter of individual sensitivity, none of the characters aroused any sympathy. On the contrary, many of them were simply impossible to like. On top of that, there is a very weak main storyline, which, instead of providing an interesting counterpoint to the dating convention, remains an awkward addition that fails to hold the player's attention.

Date Everything! is a very unique game that stands out from other visual novels. The creative idea, the vast array of memorable characters, the quirky writing, and the beautiful art really help this game shine. While the large amount of content can be overwhelming and the performance issues, along with the bugs, can put a damper on things, none of it really drags the experience down.
Date Everything! is a fresh and daring take on dating simulators. Sassy Chap Games' work brilliantly parodies the genre with an original theme: flirting with...

I think this game is beyond brilliant. It met my expectations and then some. I honestly cannot recommend it enough, it’s such a wacky, hilarious, entertaining experience, and I think almost everyone would be able to find copious enjoyment from it. Even if dating sims aren’t usually your genre, consider making this one an exception. It’s like nothing else out there, and you’d be missing out on all the deranged shenanigans.
Date Everything is a solid debut for Sassy Chap Games and is one of the better dating simulators I’ve played, down to some sheer creativity and some wonderful choices on the voice cast. It’s pretty hilarious to think about the amount of star power that is here, but when you have some clever writing, a great premise, and some gorgeous artwork and vast replayability, Date Everything is the perfect package to cozy up to and share some quality time with.
Date Everything becomes more than just a fun exercise in “What If?” and more an exploration of what makes us all human. It’s not what we’re made of on the outside, or what we look like. The seemingly innocuous discussions you start to have with these usually unacknowledged and taken for granted inanimate objects start to hold more weight as you realize you forget sometimes they’re just “things.” Using these objects as vessels to tell more stories than these 100 characters ever had the ability to on their own could’ve been used to be blatantly silly and sexual, with the innuendos and puns only there to make you laugh. All of the fantastic voice acting and writing comes together to bring a, yes, very silly (and sometimes maturely themed, if you opt-in to allow the content) game to life. But more importantly, Date Everything really shines when the spotlight is on the interactions between you, the characters, and the world they inhabit.
Date Everything! is certainly unique in its premise. I genuinely wonder how someone even came up with the idea. However, I’m glad they did! Whilst the idea of trying to date your furniture is not for everyone, it is certainly worth trying out the game. The quirkiness of the game really draws you in. While the premise of it seems silly, there is a lot of love poured into the game. Making it a very fun sandbox dating simulator. People should certainly give Date Date Everything! a go, it is definitely worthy of the rare Thumb Culture Platinum Award.
I appreciate the gimmick and the talent in Date Everything, but it isn’t as well executed as other dating sim visual novels.
I was expecting “Date Everything!” to be a jokey dating simulation with little to offer apart from its absurd scenario. Instead, I got a game with heart that tells many varied and interesting stories.
