Whilst there isn't much gameplay to get stuck into, Urban Myth Dissolution Center has an engrossing mystery worth experiencing. Hypnotic visuals and decent writing may not make the game feel any less slower but it's perfect for those wanting a macabre visual novel to get lost in.
If you enjoy detective games, or narratives with twists, then Urban Myth Dissolution Center is for you. When asked how long it took to play, I seriously thought each case took me an hour, when in fact it had probably taken triple the amount of time. I didn’t notice time passing by, that’s how much I was enjoying it. I know I keep making the comparison but it really is like Ace Attorney without the courtroom and I’m not the only one making it. Another friend asked if it was a perfect game and after thinking it over, I believe it is. We don’t do scores here, but i reckon this would get full marks from me.

With a solid narrative structure, interesting stories and charismatic characters, the game proves to be worthy of the time of those who are interested in the title but have not yet decided whether or not to play it.

Urban Myth Dissolution Center is one of the great modern adventure games. Though there’s a severe lack of freedom and simplicity in deduction, the ride was still very exciting. With a 15-hour play time, Urban Myth Dissolution Center doesn’t overstay its welcome. Anyone interested in adventure games, narrative-driven games, and mysteries owes it to themselves to play Urban Myth Dissolution Center.
With an artistic style and writing of excellent quality, fans of detective fiction and visual novels in general won't be disappointed with the delivered result. However, the game falls slightly short of reaching new fans of the genre by staying in its comfort zone when it comes to pacing and interactivity.

Although sometimes tiresome and repetitive, Urban Myth Dissolution Center is a very cool, beautiful and intriguing game. Perhaps the game's ending is a bit divisive, which leaves me hoping to see discussions about the game when it comes out.
