Happy Broccoli has once again pulled together a simple yet satisfying mystery that brings plenty of smiles and a handful of surprises. Now, if you'll excuse us, we've got to don our fedoras and go deliver a brooding speech in the rain.

This short, sweet detective game is exactly that-short and sweet. With the ability to allow hints or turn hints off, you can increase the difficulty if you're a super sleuth, or keep it easy if you're looking to veg out. The cast of characters is vibrant, and the jokes are plentiful. Follow Detective Eugene McQuackin and find some not-so-hidden clues to help quack the case.

This time around the setting and story caught my attention a lot more, with a great variety of characters and puzzles to solve. Don’t go in expecting a complete revision of its predecessor making the ultimate experience, it is pretty much the same game but with a new coat of paint, but for me that’s all I really needed. I’ll always come back for more with Duck Detectives shenanigans!

The Duck Detective is back, and his down-and-out personality is as wonderful as ever. Unfortunately, the mystery on offer here isn't quite as good as last time, but there are still plenty of pleasing puzzles and investigations to get your beak stuck into.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a nice detective game that plays everything a little too safe. The idea of taking the hero out of the city is a good one and I like all the characters. Some very high stakes emerge later in the narrative that feel unearned, but I mostly like the light tone and the way characters interact with each other.

All in all, the original Duck Detective was a wholesome, entertaining, totally charming bit of brilliance, and this stand-alone sequel does it justice.

As a sequel, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping repeats the dose of its predecessor, which means both that all the charm, enigmas and surprises are present, with deeper plot twists than it might seem at first glance, and that there is no innovation.

The Ghost of Glamping serves up a hard-boiled ghost story and plenty of cases that are a joy to quack open. If you like mysteries, no de-duck-tions are needed: you should try it out.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a mystery game that executes everything they want to do to near perfection. It’s a fun, simple, and short palate cleanser game. Only downfall, if any, is that it’s executed so well, that I wish there were more. This is the second game to the Duck Detective series, and I am very much looking forward to the next one!

Quick, fun, memorable and, above all, hilarious, this is an adventure that leaves you wanting more, especially as its ending leaves some open ends for yet another misadventure.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping brings all the good things from the first game, with another great story, but decides to play it safe and not dare to create new things. So, we have another short game that leaves the feeling that it could have yielded a little more, despite its undeniable quality.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a very enjoyable little game that’s easy to recommend for anybody looking for a quick and fun experience. Still, it suffers from the same issues the last game had — it could be considered too short due to the fact that there’s only one case to solve.

The duck detective's second case is fantastic, and it's simply a joy to be able to enjoy a short, crisp, and entertaining detective adventure with many exciting elements. The fact that we can now play Eugene McQuacklin's investigations entirely in German is the icing on the cake.

If you liked The Secret Salami, you will love Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping. If you haven’t played The Secret Salami yet, play that one first. This one picks up with the story from the end of the previous one, so there are some characters you won’t know unless you finished the first one. I was super sad when Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping ended; I think this episode was too short. But other than that, I had no issues with this beautiful, funny, adorable game from a developer I already loved deeply. Excellent work once again.

My time with Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping was both amazing but short. I’m glad that Happy Broccoli Games have now made two Duck Detective games and I’m hopeful there will be more. I just wish there was more of this sequel just like there are slices of bread in a bag. Hopefully this review would convince people to get this game and start a cult following. Because a game like this should be treasured before it flies south for the winter! I give Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping the Thumb Culture Platinum Award.

Uncovering clues is no longer mired by retracing unsure steps as the title now boasts a helpful combination of map, hint, and clue indicator systems. The characters, both returning and brand-new, are just as absurd as the first title. And while the narrative is a little abrupt, the games’ tell-tale humor may have hit even harder.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a sequel that retains the essence of the first episode, while adding more polished writing and a more nuanced atmosphere. Although the easier puzzles and shorter duration may leave players wanting more, the charm of Duck Detective is still there, thanks to a delicious sense of humor and meticulous art direction. The fluidity of the narrative means you can really enjoy the adventure, even if it leaves you wanting more. With an ending that leaves the door open to a potential sequel, we can only hope for a much more ambitious follow-up.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a great game without a doubt. It's not a long game, so you can do it all in one afternoon, but you need to put your head to work for it to really work, which is actually great. Get involved. Live the game. Be the duck.
