Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants Reviews
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants can be whipped through in a single afternoon but features several puzzles that are even better than those in The Great Circle itself.
The Order of Giants is a small-scale Indiana Jones adventure, taking you on an enjoyable side quest that nevertheless feels like it's missing The Great Circle's freedom and scrappy improvisation
However, if you're just looking for a few more hours with your favourite quipping archaeologist, then The Order of Giants offers up just that, with a fun storyline, great visuals, and some fantastic puzzles.
Narratively, this content has its moments, but as far as we're concerned, it failed to fully exploit the potential of the main elements constituting the story, which proved anything but essential. That said, those who want to extend their stay in the world built by Machine Games now have the opportunity to do so.

Respectable, enjoyable in bursts, but not the stuff of legends. The Order of the Giants doesn't belong in a museum, but it is a decent way to spend an afternoon.
The Order of the Giants is well worth playing. While much of the adventure feels built around elaborate puzzle set-pieces, the striking setting and satisfying challenge make it a worthy addition to the base game. With its smooth performance, polished presentation, and of course, Indy's trademark charm and charisma, this is an experience that kept me engaged from start to finish.
For those who can't get enough Indy, The Order of Giants whips up an engaging Indiana Jones mini-adventure. What it lacks in scope it more than makes up for with some of the best puzzles in the entire game. And its standalone Rome story feels like a movie unto itself, filled with rich lore and moments of wonder.
Indy returns to Rome with a more cerebral side story featuring some of the best brainteasers in the whole adventure.
The Order of the Giants is an expansion that manages to be meaningful, inspired, and cohesive. It honors the narrative legacy of Indiana Jones, while boldly venturing into new territory: the mystical, the theological, the supernatural, the subterranean. It's a tale of faith, mystery, and responsibility-a journey into the depths of history and the human soul. More than just adding hours of gameplay, it expands the vision of the world built in the original title, leaving the door open for new chapters, new questions, and new mysteries.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants is bittersweet. Despite getting almost everything right, as did the base game, it’s hard not to feel short changed by the time the credits roll. Let’s pray Indy’s not about to hang his whip up anytime soon.
The Order of Giants is literally an old-school DLC in the truest sense of the word. Instead of adding a new region or new mechanics to the game, it simply offers more of the same. One can't help but wish they had gone the expansion pack route rather than the classic DLC route. Because a fantastic game like The Great Circle deserves more than this.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of Giants is one of the shorter DLCs I've ever played (right up there with Alan Wake 2). I was expecting a bit more...

If the main adventure with your favorite action archaeologist wasn't enough for you, spend a few more hours with him and uncover one more unsolved mystery. It's a pleasant time spent, but the DLC doesn't bring anything that we didn't already see in the original game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – The Order of Giants complements and expands the main story of the game very well, oferring new creative puzzles and new immersive environments.

Order of the Giants is a DLC worthy of the main game. It generally has an enjoyable pace and presents an engaging story, but its 3-hour playtime can feel a bit too short.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: Order of Giants is another Indiana Jones adventure, at a cost. While the new exploration and puzzles are fun to go through, plus the narrative and central mystery of the titular order of giants is deeply compelling, the overall package lacks any meaningful substance. The DLC lasts only four hours, there are no new shake-ups to combat, and once you complete the quest, you get nothing for your efforts. Considering the $20 price point, it's hard to justify purchasing the DLC unless you're truly desperate for more Indiana Jones action.
In summary, this first DLC for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle maintains the adventurous spirit of the series and can be enjoyed without having completed the main story, but it does not reach the epic proportions of the base game.

The tone is typically dramatic and light-hearted, typical of Indiana Jones, perfectly in keeping with the tone of The Ancient Circle. However, in this specific case, it all blends with darker, sometimes even disturbing, tones, generating a good amount of suspense and even a few minor, tolerable scares.

Indiana Jones remains as relevant and charming in 2025 as he did 44 years ago. The Order of Giants DLC is a welcome addition, giving fans plenty of slapstick action and puzzle-solving. While the story as it takes place in Indy’s present takes a backseat, everything else you’d want to do more of from the base game is here.
The Order of Giants doesn't do anything to change the formula of the main game and instead offers more of the great experience that Machine Games crafted in The Great Circle. Troy Baker is, once again, brilliant. The locations are exciting, the puzzles are thought provoking, and the new storyline is intriguing.
