Seasons After Fall Reviews
Seasons After Fall is unique in that its beautiful artistic style almost makes you forget about the lackluster gameplay. While it’s far from perfect, it still manages to be an enjoyable experience, especially for those who treat games as an experience rather than a task to be completed.
Ultimately, it’s competent, but without the systems or story being on the same level as the aesthetic Seasons After Fall will soon fade from memory.
The relaxing gameplay allows you to spend more time appreciating the merits of its design and message, while soaking in the wonderful musical score.
Seasons After Fall is an incredibly charming platforming experience. The art style, soundtrack, and overall atmosphere are well done. The powers of the seasons are also great although the puzzles weren’t challenging enough and didn’t utilize them properly. If you feel like having a good time without thinking too much, I would definitely recommend it. However, if you’re looking for a challenge, this might not be the game for you.

Season After Fall is more convincing for its beautiful aesthetics than for its gameplay, but this discrepancy does not make it a title to be underestimated.

To put it bluntly, Seasons After Fall is "pleasant." A world with a great feeling experience that tends to knock you out of it when moving around. As much as I appreciate a game as relaxed as this, that relaxation never quite became true enjoyment.
It bears repeating just how beautiful Seasons After Fall is both visually and musically. When paired with the interesting season manipulation mechanic, the result is a highly enjoyable puzzle-platformer that actually requires both physical and mental dexterity to complete. It is not flawless, but the occasional niggles are outweighed by the gorgeous aesthetics and the moments of puzzle solving satisfaction.
Seasons after Fall is a beautiful puzzle platformer with gorgeous artwork and music, well-voiced appealing characters, and a captivating story.
Seasons After Fall isn't a perfect game to play, but rather a delightful game to look at. While it definitely could've used some more substance in its last couple hours, the games ethereal OST and lavish art style means that it is definitely worth checking out.
Seasons After Fall is a gorgeous year-round romp through the forest that will pull at the heartstrings on more than one occasion. Every season brings fun and different dynamics to the game, complemented superbly by the soundtrack. Some puzzles and load times may frustrate, but they're not enough to detract from the overall charm and enjoyment of the game.
Seasons After Fall is not a complex or difficult game, but it wasn’t meant to be one.
Seasons After Fall is a soft and tender tale, filled with poetic inspiration. The cell shading offers amazing views, sublimated by a perfect use of colors and contrasts. In terms of gameplay, unfortunately, the game fails in mantaining the same quality.

So if you, like me, occasionally need a rest from fast-paced, action-first gaming, I truly cannot recommend Seasons after Fall enough. The art alone is sufficient to offer a unique and worthwhile experience, and the light yet engaging gameplay offers a wonderful way to experience it.
If you are a platformer enthusiast who likes jumping around and solving puzzles, you will probably enjoy this game. Just go into the game expecting great visuals and a soundtrack, and you will not be unduly disappointed.
Seasons After Falls tries so very hard but falls short of being truly excellent. The repetitive puzzles hinder things enough that, if you're like me, you'll end up playing in small doses.
Relaxing playable experience. Seasons after Fall presents a world, which you should dive into from time to time and spend some time with main character.

With stunning hand-painted graphics and simple platforming and puzzles Seasons after Fall is sure to be adored by many.
Seasons After Fall is a game you play to decompress. It hits the nail on the head as far as atmosphere but its story isn’t very well explained, and its gameplay loop can run a bit stagnate after a while.
Seasons After Fall gets top marks for its pretty painted canvas visuals that are, sadly, the main attraction of the game.
Seasons after Fall is beautiful game that exists to dazzle you with handcrafted imperfect art and animation. This is an experience that isn’t for everyone, as some gamers feel their time is better spent in a more perfect art like Child of Light or Abzû. However, for those that fall in love with imperfection, this game is the perfect addition to your library.
