A stone cold VR classic and a game every PSVR 2 player should own. Even five years on from its original release, Beat Saber is worth every penny.

Beat Saber is the perfect recipe for a rhythm game. Easy to pick up, difficult to put down, and a wealth of complexity to explore once it has you hooked.

Beat Saber should be the go-to for introducing people to the potential of VR gaming. Its simple to learn, damn near impossible to master rhythm gameplay is outstanding.

Beat Saber is, quite simply, the perfect VR game. Slashing blocks with lightsabers couldn't be more fun and it's accessible to everyone. It takes the concept of virtual reality and implements a hyper-focused gameplay experience to deliver an experience unlike anything you've ever seen before. While being relatively simple in its design, everything is just set dressing for the lightsaber flailing madness that you'll partake in. And you'll love every second of it.

When I finally decided to join the world of VR for the first time with PSVR2, the number one game that everyone recommended for me as the best game for VR is Beat Saber. Did it meet my incredibly high expectations, especially as someone who LOVES rhythm games? Absolutely! With so many songs to choose from, and amazing music packs (many which I already purchased and enjoyed), it is a must have for any VR owner. Modular difficulties allowing even the least experienced can enjoy, allows for great movement to the beat especially in higher difficulty, and a beautiful backdrop/stage.

Beat Saber is the best use of PSVR to date. It's the most fun I've had with a game in years.

There are various complications, including bombs and walls that have to be ducked out of the way of, with the latter also working much better with Quest because of the lack of wires and freedom of movement. Which in turn also make this the perfect game to play with friends, given how easy it is to pass the headset around for someone else to play.

Beat Saber is a blast, and one of the best experiences you can have in virtual reality. You truly feel like a musical samurai (even if you look silly to everyone watching)

Beat Saber is a rhythm game that's both simple and fun. Unfortunately, its soundtrack is very limited at the moment.

Beat Saber is, to put it simplye, one of the best VR games we have ever tried so far, and one of the coolest and most rewarding music games ever. The soundtrack is overall very good, but unfortunately a little bit limited for a game of its kind, and we could also regret the absence of an online VS mode, but no good reasons shall turn you away from this fantastic rhythm game, which is an instant classic for virtual reality.

Beat Saber is among the defining VR titles, pushing the platform forward in fun and unique ways. Driving music underlines a virtual reality experience that's a huge workout. Despite being exhausted, I found myself losing hours at a time to Beat Saber, replaying my favorite tracks to try and master them. Simple, fun, and addictive, Beat Saber has a hook that will immediately grab players and keep them engaged for a long time. Hopefully Beat Games continues to support the platform, adding to what I would consider an essential VR experience.

Beat Saber is possible the best VR experience ever made. It is an incredibly satisfying rhythm game which uses the immersion of VR to evoke a sense of scale, power and energy that hugely enhances the underlying gameplay loop. The mechanics, music and VR environment tap into something deep in your psyche that creates an irresistibly fun and empowering experience.

Beat Saber feels like the title that has propelled VR gaming into the mainstream and its effect on inspiring a whole host of other developers to enter this space cannot be underestimated. The core gameplay loop here is one the whole family can get involved in and it is not an over exaggeration to say this game can consume hours once it gets its hooks in. The BTS tracks are a welcome addition and if there is one band whose music seems to fit perfectly with this, it surely has to be theirs. Energetic, bombastic and addictive - prepare to be replaying Dynamite a lot to perfect its tough beat map. While some will argue the game itself and subsequent packs are ever so slightly overpriced, with multiplayer now active and the ability to add as many custom songs as one desires, for any VR owner this is simply a must-buy.

Beat Saber has just about everything I want from a rhythm game. It is an experience that can only be done in virtual reality and it is done so well. It has a great tactile feel thanks to the rumble of the controllers and incredibly satisfying combo-driven gameplay. While the soundtrack is solid, there really aren’t that many tracks and said tracks lack stylistic variety. However, that hasn’t stopped me from playing hours of Beat Saber, even if I’m sweaty and my eyes are throbbing afterward.
