The one put together by the creators of FlatOut is a valid and well-packaged product. The driving features of the game, as might have been expected, obviously remain the destructibility and damage system, but within Wreckfest there is, fortunately, also something more: a complete game and more than worthy of being counted with merit in the small array of titles successfully released from early access.

Wreckfest is a solid product. It is fun, has a good amount of content, gives to the player a wide range of personalization and it is visually great. Because of that, even though it doesn't offer something that we haven't seen before, we recommend it for every player that likes the off-road and demolition genres.

Wreckfest isn’t the greatest racing game ever made, but it’s filled a niche it excels at. Everything about it focuses your attention on the finite moments of utter chaos and straddles the line between arcade fun and simulation. It wants you to be reckless and doesn’t burn you for it.
It looks great, plays great, and stands out in the crowded racing market.
Wreckfest can have sustained periods of standard race after standard race, but it delivers its best parts when trying to keep that fresh.

Arcade racers are seeing a resurgence of late and Wreckfest fits nicely into that sub-genre, bringing banger racing into the limelight and turning it up to eleven. It may not be named Destruction Derby, but the spirit of the old Psygnosis classic is alive and well in Bugbear's latest racer.

It's a fun game both by yourself, with friends, and especially with strangers on the Internet. However, Wreckfest is also pricey, and any buyer is going to have to balance their desire to get in on the action with the knowledge that they can probably find much of the same somewhere else.
Surely the game will have their admirers who would like to see such more serious races on the roads, but those who are hungry for undiluted adrenaline gamers will quickly get bored.

Wreckfest is a very solid game that is been published after five years of early access. The impressive physics, the worderful damage system and a lot of competitions make Wreckfest a must have for this summer.

The creators of Flatout channel a little of the classic Destruction Derby as this brilliantly destructive racer emerges from Early Access.
Wreckfest is out of its early access, but there is still work to do, especially to give it a real "soul" in solo mode. It is far above all the competition in rendering physical damage on cars. On PC, he avails of the work of a very active community. Thanks to this, it offers hours of discoveries and online racing. Bugbear will probably work hard to deliver much stuff on the PC version and then an interesting console release by the end of the year.
