Mothergunship Reviews
As I said above, I'm totally ok with admitting that Mothergunship might not have been made with my specific gaming tastes in mind. But when a game tries so hard to tell me how to play and, worse, punishes me so harshly when I fail, I just can't for the life of me imagine that any sort of gamer could find long-term enjoyment out of what it offers.
Mothergunship is a bombastic mix of bullet hell, crafting and FPS with old school charm.

Mothergunship is a marvelous blend of roguelite randomness and self-serve zaniness, with a short but sweet campaign to kick it all off. All this presented with some of the best production values I've seen from a small-studio game. If you like what you see, you can rest assured that Mothergunship delivers.
Tight action, packed with more guns than Ted Nugent's home and a singular focus on turning the tables on bullet hell enemies makes Mothergunship a slick piece of high caliber fun.
MOTHERGUNSHIP is a great FPS with some laugh out loud dialogue and a deeply entertaining gun crafting mechanic. While the roguelike elements bring the game down, it's still a delightful little game to fire up during the AAA summer drought.
As an FPS, Mothergunship and its amazing gun crafting is an improvement on what came before. As a roguelike, the game fails at the basics, providing an overly randomized system and lackluster progression.
Mothergunship is a solid title that hangs its hat on weapon customization, while sacrificing some gameplay. It's definitely worth a go, even if only to show the insane weapon designs one can concoct.
Mothergunship is a fusion of good ideas and good mechanics let down by some poor design choices and inexcusable bugs, but what's here is a good foundation for Grip Digital to build and improve upon.
Mothergunship is a big improvement compared to Tower of Guns. Still, there are some elements which require polishing.

Mothergunship is a special kind of game. It combines the right about of bullet hell shooting, tosses in some platforming and makes you laugh at the same time. Lots of things to blow up, lots of cool gun configurations, tons of secrets to find and a game that you won’t tire of so easily.
Mothergunship could have easily been a failure, but somehow it comes together as a creative and inventive package.
The fast-paced bullet hell action doesn’t always mesh with the restricted peripheral view, and the game’s challenge wanders into unfair territory at times, but there’s a confident style about the game that’s endearing
MOTHERGUNSHIP gives you everything you expect from a FPS Bullet hell. Which is to say that there are a lot of bullets, both to dodge and to fire. It is a frenetic and chaotic shooter with a great crafting system that makes the whole thing feel like LEGO had an angry baby with Doom.
There really aren't many other shooters out there that offer this sort of blend of comedy, speed, chaos, and gun customization.
Take the fight to the enemy in this roguelike, bullet-hell FPS from Grip Digital.
Mothergunship is a game with brilliant ideas and an extremely fast paced and engaging gameplay. Though some ideas work, others leave you dissapointed but all in all it can be amusing for a couple of hours

Your enjoyment of Mothergunship is going to be dependent on how much you liked Tower of Guns. Even though other games are starting to adopt the style, the fast pace is still refreshing, and the enemy variety could be better. Players will have tons of fun trying to make up new and ridiculous guns, but they'll also curse the game when it becomes so hard that they lose all of the parts they worked so hard to get. Mothergunship looks and sounds great, and with new modes and items coming in from future patches, there's still some enjoyment to be had after defeating the game. For shooting fans, Mothergunship is well worth checking out.
Unique action game with total firepower and cool modular gun-crafting systems. However later a bit eventless.

Having said that, I still recommend that you play MOTHERGUNSHIP on PlayStation 4. The build-your-own-guns gameplay mechanic is fun, and it forces you to think a bit outside the box as you balance how you use the parts you purchase with those you're sometimes forced to use for a mission to create something that is useful and not too powerful to use for a long period of time
With addictive gameplay and an unprecedented combination of several creative mechanics, Mothergunship not only pays tribute to famous and essential titles of the FPS genre, such as Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein, but also became a mandatory game on PlayStation 4 to those raised by these franchises.
