Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Reviews
An almost perfect game with just some minor flaws that don't ruin the overall experience.

One more metroidvania to add to the mix. At least is a good example of the classic proposal of the genre although it's not technically perfect.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a worthy follow up to the Castlevania games that many grew up with in terms of its exploration, but lacks some much-needed polish in the combat and animation department to truly shine as a modern gem
A sprawling and beautifully executed monument to the Castlevania titles of old, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night feels like a promise delivered for fans of not just the series, but intricately structured action adventures too. The king has returned.
Bloodstained finally delivers upon the promise of a modern follow-up to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and it does so spectacularly.
Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is a Castlevania game in all but name, and one of the best of the franchise at that. Igarashi and his team captured everything that made that franchise so beloved, and assembled a long and fun adventure, even if a little rough around the edges on a technical standpoint.

Koji Igarashi and his team have composed another exceptional symphony in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Aside from some minor performance issues and localization typos barely worth mentioning, Bloodstained is an incredible feat in independent video game development. I’ll be coming back to this one for years to come.
Ritual of the Night starts off a little too familiar, but quickly ramps up into an impressive exemplar of the genre it's retreading
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a love letter for all the fans that waited for a real new Castlevania game. Igarashi delivered what he promised 5 years ago.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is as close to perfect as fans of metroidvania games could hope for.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night shows how the Metroidvania genre can appeal to both purists and more modern players, offering something new while giving hearty nods at its roots.
Four years ago in 2015 when Koji Igarashi took to Kickstarter, he wanted to prove to the suits of the games industry that people still loved Castlevania. If they wouldn’t give him the series name, he and the fans would make sure it lived on in spirit. Now, in 2019, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is finally here, and it’s everything we hoped it to be. I might be late to the Igavania party, but it made me nostalgic for a bygone era of gaming all the same. As it turns out, the notion that this kind of game is antiquated turned out to be just a strange illusion.
For our part we only have to congratulate Koji Igarashi and encourage everyone to give him an opportunity, because you will take home a real gem.

To finish must say that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a very good game and a mandatory metroidvania, happy to say that it is good to see how a Kickstarter campaign of so many years that we have gone so well when everything painted the opposite.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night stands as one of the best Vania games of recent memory, and one of the most satisfying games of 2019 so far.
I’ll be exploring this weird world for quite a while yet, and I suspect that many of you will be doing the same.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the perfect sequel of Castlevania despite its name is not Castlevania.

Bloodstained: ROTN faithfully recreates the metroidvania experience of the 2000s—a feast for fans of a very specific experience; a bit too old-fashioned for anyone else.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is not the perfect Iga-vania, but it is a worthy entry in the genre. It's clearly Castlevania in all but name and long term fans will find much to enjoy here, but it's lacking in polish and refinement with a few niggles with the controls and too many unwelcome bugs at launch. With a few more patches, Bloodstained should be the game all us fans wanted it to be.
