Catherine Full Body on Switch it's the very same game that we saw in 2019, with a little less graphical detail (appreciable especially when playing on TV) and slighty longer loading times. The rest is as enjoyable as on PS4, especially if you love weird & puzzle games, and haven't joined this love triangle before...

Catherine: Full Body is one of those rare full-bodied ports that’s just as enjoyable when poured into a to-go cup.

Catherine: Full Body is a perfect match for Nintendo Switch: like Vincent and his C/K/Qatherine girls.

Catherine: Full Body has aged like a fine wine thanks to its new offerings. Not only do these add to an already great experience, but they made the game feel fresh. Rin's introduction to the storyline added a whole new dimension to the already twisted love triangle, while Remix mode did the same for the puzzles. If you haven't played Catherine before, now's a great chance to jump on the train. If you have, Catherine: Full Body is certainly worthy of the encore.

Catherine: Full Body is a quite perfect match on the Nintendo Switch and it's still an entertaining and original adventure-puzzle experience.

If approached with an open mind, Catherine can be a thorough lens on the consequences of actions, both in games and in life. That quality doesn’t play much of a part in whether it’s “good” or “bad”, but it (as well as damn near everything else in the game) certainly pushes it firmly into one of a kind, and I would argue that and the other elements described in this review makes it absolutely worth experiencing.

Catherine: Full Body is a fantastic revamp of a bonafide cult classic. With an excellent new character and several new endings slickly inserted into an already highly entertaining narrative – not to mention a slew of fun new modes – this is the definitive version of an outstanding game. If you've never played Catherine before then you're in for an absolute treat, and if you have, we'd say there's enough new content here to make it worth diving in all over again.

It's unfortunate, since the voice acting, visuals, and overall cinematic direction of both cutscenes and gameplay are all excellent. This game is the product of a passionate and talented team. It's just a shame that their efforts were all in service to writing that is cynical, regressive, outdated, and just plain exhausting.

In the same way you visit your hometown after being away for a decade and notice all the changes in familiar places, Catherine: Full Body’s alterations may come as a surprise to those who held the original in high regard. After the initial shock wears away, however, it’s clear to see the wisdom behind the choices made, and Atlus, yet again, achieves greatness.

Catherine: Full Body gave me a truly unique experience that I haven’t had before with any video game, especially because I hadn’t played the original release. It was definitely one of the darkest and most intense stories I can remember.

Whether you played the original or not, Catherine: Full Body should be high on your list if you want a game that truly reflects real life and all its absurdities.

Catherine: Full Body is a moderately successful remaster. The new gameplay elements have convinced me, the help against the high difficulty is subtle but easy to reach and the many small changes in detail and the Easter-Eggs for connoisseurs of the original brought me a lot of joy while discovering them. I find it all the more incomprehensible that the graphics and textures were not screwed up again and that the voices of the characters are still asynchronous, which threw me out of the enjoyment of the story again and again. Due to the very strange mix of puzzle game and visual novel, there ist still no alternative to Catherine: Full Body and it is still a lot of fun.

Catherine: Full Body shows how a good title can be made even better by making a series of changes to provide a new experience even for old fans. The new contents of the game are so engaging and of course fascinating that one cannot easily abandon them. In addition to the strong storyline that is highly replayable because of its numerous endings, there are other parts of the game that can entertain you for a long time

Catherine: Full Body is a complete package. It has something for everyone: a solid and replayable campaign mode; an arcade mode that features more puzzles; competitive and co-op modes, and most important of all, a surprisingly good puzzle game. Although some bits in the story are problematic, Catherine’s visuals, as well as the story’s mature themes dealing with commitment, relationships, and infidelity, are generally entertaining.

Catherine: Full Body is the definitive version of a cult classic game, in terms of gameplay. When it comes to the story and romance simulation side of the game, I can't help but feel it's a step down when compared to what we already had years ago. Still a great game that deserves to be experienced, but Catherine: Full Body should only be essential for those die-hard fans and the competitive scene, everyone else can wait for a sale.

Catherine is certainly a fun and challenging game, both in its gameplay and story and character elements. In some of these moments it succeeds, in others, it fumbles, and falls flat on its face. But that doesn't mean it's unimportant, as it is good to learn from mistakes made previously in order to improve at a later point in time.

Catherine: Full Body is truly a remaster done right. With multiple puzzles, a brand new storyline, and new options that include an auto-play feature for story-lovers, if there are gamers out there that were on the fence about picking up Catherine, this version is a definite must. While more veteran Catherine players and action oriented puzzle fans may get tired of the long story scenes, ATLUS has also included online modes, the remixed story path, and non-story oriented puzzles which are also available to keep players invested.

Is Full Body worthy of a revisit for fans who played the first game? Most definitely not. Your longing for debauchery will not be sated by the game's new romance option who is wedged into the plot for no good reason. However, those who have always wanted to try the game but missed out last time should definitely give this one a look.
