Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Reviews
Not a bad expansion by any means. It's just that fundamentally its current balancing of monster hitzones, impediment of clutch claw mechanics, and process of endgame grinding/gearing elongate an already long process into a longer one than necessary.
If you are remotely a Monster Hunter fan, this is a must have. If you have been interested in Monster Hunter but have yet to try it, do yourself a favor and pick up Monster Hunter World and this expansion. It’s the most accessible Monster Hunter to date and a fantastic entry into the series.
The best way to enjoy Capcom's action-RPG gem
Monster Hunter: World's first major DLC makes its way to PC, bringing with it a whole host of new monsters and mechanics. I'll repeat what I said before: Iceborne is great.
Iceborne simply is what every Monster Hunter World player always longed for.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's PC launch is mostly good, though some curious issues hold it back from true excellence.
PC players have been rewarded for their patience; Monster Hunter World Iceborne on PC is the definitive version of one of the best games of the last decade.
An essential purchase for any Monster Hunter fan, that also happens to be one of Capcom’s best ever PC ports.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne is an expansion by the book. There is tons of new content, including exciting new monsters, weapon and armor sets. The Clutch Claw and new attacks add to the gameplay and are really needed for the challenging Master Rank quests. On PC the new areas look even better, including support for widescreen. We still recommend however to avoid mouse and keyboard. If Capcom can keep this quality up, the franchise has a bright future ahead.

Iceborne is a little bit more of everything that makes Monster Hunter so enjoyable. The pace drags at times, but that's easy to forgive amid dozens of hours of cool new monsters to slay.
Iceborne adds a lot to the game and should keep players busy for a long time. The performance will hopefully improve and the price tag is high, but there's a lot more Monster Hunter to see with this expansion. Plus, you basically have no choice but to buy this if you're already deeply invested.
Iceborne already proved itself to be a spectacular expansion, but the PC release is even better with improved keyboard/mouse controls, up to 4K 60fps, and much more.
